- Video log of the restoration work I did last year on a 1978 Skeeter HP-150 Bass Boat. From fiberglass repairs, to new carpeting, wiring, and gel coat… this turned out to be a pretty substantial project!

The amount of work you can do is simply incredible. From the upholstery down to wood working and electrical you my guy are what I strive to be one day.

Looks good for the age. A lot of work goes in to this kind of rebuild. I’m working on a 1991 ranger 690. Boat was free but as you know free ain’t exactly free with all the work to be done. I used 1/2, and 1/4 inch plywood instead of 3/4 to save weight. Mine is going good, so is yours.

Not too much. Removed 30lb of glass and old compartments. Added 50b of new structure.
Do you restore boats for people? If you do I would like to know what you charge I have a 1995 skeeter SS140 that I recently bought and I would love to restore the boat but have NO idea where to even start haha
I'm really just a weekend warrior... this type of work is fun for me but doesn't pay the bills! I wish it would.
Ss140 is a nice boat. Just saw one of those on the water last weekend. Lot of potential.

Cost me more in time than money. But to make it easy let's just say that a repaint with all supplies is 2-3k us on the low end. Engine work is another big money hole and
Completely variable. To do basic tune up stuff 500 to 1k us... thats for all the maintenance items and to have the lower unit gone through.
