I think the only reason why the Nosfet Apex's price is much more cheaper than the Lynx is just mainly the name. Leaperkim is synonymous to the EUC communoty as one of the sturdiest and safest wheels out there, and as for Nosfet, this is they're first production wheel and its still a young company.
Have a Falcon, got this as my 2nd wheel. It's awesome. Still getting my feet under me, so to speak, but it's a smooth, fast wheel, and the construction is outstanding.
Yeah I want a falcon I'm very new only have 60 me on my first wheel I bought the second wheel just because it was a huge sale but I want to replace my first bill the V10 with the falcon
@@choochtech The Falcon does seem well-built, but some bits are pretty vulnerable. I agree with your "no trolley handle" point in the Apex video, because in a low-speed crash, my Falcon jumped around on the ground, and the handle came unlatched (from its truly pathetic latch) and bent up a treat. So not having a trolley handle on the Apex is no bad thing, in my eyes. It's plenty tall enough to wheel around. The Falcon also damaged its top plastic shell pretty badly, breaking entirely at half the screw connection points. That component of the Falcon is pretty fragile, and should probably be redesigned to be more metal, at the connectors, and with some structural ribbing over the top. This part is vital in protecting the electronics, so it should, I think, be stronger.

Hey, great Video man ! I just bought new Veteran Sherman Max, since the old one has battery issues after about 51K Kilometers. I was looking at the Lynx, but I was concerned about flex between motor and battery cases and suspension service, since I wanted to do deliveries on it and ride a lot. Did you experienced some flex on the lynx, since you are riding very hard ? I got the Sherman now anyway for 28 hundred, but maybe I'll get the Lynx next year. Nice jacket by the way !
When looking at my Apex there is a ton of tire clearance before you get to the battery pack. The 244 Shinko on my Lynx barely had room to clear the battery packs. But the 244 Shinko on my Apex has maybe 3/8th of an inch clearance. I am about to move to 9500ft in Colorado, and will need to do more winter riding, so I am thinking about equipping my Apex with cable tire chains, for winter riding.
Im trying to review the X-way next. Maybe I can trade Jimmy chang with the freshly charged channel, the Apex and I can get the Xway for a bit. I will let ya know if I get a chance to try it out.
Hey Chooch, I have Nosfet Apex founders edition #6. I love the Apex, it is a super smooth and quiet wheel. I ditched the default Apex air spring for a coil spring. It has been rainy and muddy here, so I have not had many chances to use the Apex offroad; however I have hit some Sk8 park and concrete jumps on the Apex. The Apex is the most intuitive unicycle I have had when it comes to timing out a jump (Patton, Lynx, and now Apex have been my first 3 EUCs). I really like the 244 Shinko tire on Lynx or Apex, because it is super nice on the street, and super nice on the dirt, as well as being super stable. I discovered that the Apex headlight protector works perfectly as a helmet holder when the Apex is on the kickstand. Have fun with the Apex.
my insta 360 been doing this thing where it makes the first video on the sd card have no stabilization. Man I am so fed up with it. I recorded 3 incredible rides and all the footage from the first video which is where I rode the fastest and best was all basically unusable. I just added a few clips here that were cool that lost stability. I am so bummed about losing all the good footage.
I ran one for a few years and it honestly got in the way and was more of a gimmick than being functional. I do suggest it if you are newer to riding and do not want to look over the shoulder while going forward at high speed. Im more comfortable just looking back now. But a helmet mirror has its place for some riders.
It is a very naked wheel which makes it durable, everything that is a weak point on other wheels is really made to not break on this wheel. There is no protruding headlight or tail light "like on the begode extreme" that could potentially break. The points that need a plastic buffer do have them, like the top of the wheel where it would lay over in a crash and skid. It would skid on plastic and not on metal where it needs to.

You’re still riding just as irresponsibly as ever…
damn is your camera damaged? so much wobble compared to other videos, also poor stitching, this genuinely hurts my eyes to watch :(
yea my insta 360 is doing this thing where the first video of every new sd card has no stabilization. These cameras are a piece of work sometimes. I had three great rides be completely unusable footage. There are only a few clips here that were not stable most of the vid is good clips.
