Your video Leah is the simplest and most straight forward I have come across in understanding the DDT and the TED. Love it! Thank you.

"Do not confuse simple and easy."
    Oof, that's the truth!
Love the talk - I've explored the concept before but never in a workplace situation, and my workplace has some of the dreaded triangle, that's for sure :)

Thanks so much for the feedback. These models guide my response to challenging situations every day and feature in both of my books. I think every workplace has some DDT people!

I’m one of the few people that remembers everyone’s name. I learned this in college when I was cramming for a practical test. Remembering hundreds of plants. I give everyone a weird connection in my mind. Like the name for elderberry sambucus cerulea. I just remember sams bucking cereal. Somehow making a connection in my mind I can’t forget. If it’s Rachel and her boyfriend is Tom, its raytom the ray gun. I’ll see them and know that’s ray Tom. 😂 I might have a mind of a weirdo but it works. People are actually surprised when I meet them once and remember them forever. Lisa at the seed place is Lisa the seedy lady who is seedy. 😂

excellent, very clarifying and helpful. Maybe ptsd needs to be healed first in order to to this.
Trauma might make it impossible to a more positive dynamic.

I think you can still choose. I "can't choose" my response because of ptsd is still an excuse. With respect, it is an excuse. You can choose your response always, might it be the healthiest? Ptsd should be treated, can it be fully cured? I dunno, sure woukd hate to be stuck suffering in the drama triangle for years until i was "healed" might be better to choose my response to be" I'm going to operate from the empowerment triangle as I work on things of my life including treatment for my PTSD" then you are operating from a more powerful position rather than just having life react upon you.
The choice of your response is in your head you literally can make any choice in the entire world, it is a free choice, with no constraints.

Trauma can absolutely have an impact on being able to consciously shift from the DDT to TED. An important point to raise. Thank you.
