This guy is criminally underrated. He gave an actual in-depth guide 90% of unlike these fake carbon copy youtubers who would say “oh just aim at head level guyS and ur done.”
What I really like about this video is it clears up the no shit definition of crosshair placement being "aim at headshot level." In my opinion, crosshair placement is the most valuable factor in one's aim in Valorant and it's a topic worth going in depth with like you did for this video. Thank you Fishychair! I've been a fan of you since 4k subscribers, and keep pushing out great content!!
you inspired me to use THE guardian and ever since i used it my aim has become sooo much consistent even my friends started liking the guardian LOVE YOUR VIDEOS
I have seen many guides abt crosshair placement but this guy's guide is on a different level than the rest. He explained a lot of physics stuff in this that no one did. Keep working hard fishy hope u reach million subs soon❤️.
I've watched dozens of videos on this, and no one has gone this in depth. THANK YOU. I have generally decent aim, and this helps. Not only does your video help with crosshair placement, it also helps you understand certain aspects of how duels are lost, helping me analyze later. I'm in low elo, so unfortunately some of those aim tips don't really work (i.e. players almost always push out of smokes from the front, for example) This is sstill a huge step forward, thanks! Loved your work ever since I saw it.
you legit made me start using guardian more than every gun. my aim has gotten so much more consistent, it's gotten more steady instead of shaky, and therefore when i go to peek (My favorite peek is Split in A screens) this makes it so much easier.
Great guide! Every point is well evidenced and motivated! Sad times that a lot of people will skip past it because of the theory focus but I just absolutely love it. As somebody who studies Maths at university, I just love how you take geometric concepts and apply them in game. Want to see more of this!
Best crosshair placement explanation that exists. So many people try to show you how its done and bait you without explaining the fundamentals. Will definitely recommend
Valorant Ascended also has a great video about the radianite boxes related to head height you mentioned titled "This will fix your aim (from a riot developer)". When I watched it it literally changed how I view the game. A real mind opener.
Following your Guardian only also really helped jump start my aim improvement after not playing the game regularly for a while. I feel more confident with my first shot accuracy and horizontal flicks due to having to really take my time with my shots, practice or not.
I just wanna say, thank you fishy. I dont play ranked, but when i did play, i was iron 3. I literally didnt know how i was supposed to hit headshots at ALL. It would have been considered good for me if i got 1 headshot every 5 rounds. I was always at the bottom of the scoreboard and couldn't enjoy the game at all and i quit for a while Then, i saw your "one tapping radiants" video, and fell in love with it. After watching your videos, and this tutorial, my headshot rate is now 22% average. Not amazing, but it was a massive improvement for me. Now i can finally enjoy valorant. I even sometimes play chamber and try to only use the headhunter. Thank you for teaching me how to play the game.
the only guide that i watch all throughout the video, the mathematical explanation brings more characteristic on the guide, making more sense what to do and what to apply, thankyou for the effort
Thank you, bro. You really made me rethink the whole concept of FPS competitive shooters, and how not only blind practice can make you improve. Just by understanding the mechanics now, do I realize how wrong I've been playing the game. Slowly but surely improving now thanks to you. Keep up the great content ! Subscribed :)
Crosshair placement is easy. I saw a Dev explain it once. He said, since 99% of objects in Valorant are made by cubes, and enemie are the exact height of cubes, justput your crosshair where the cube stops vertically. Easy. Look at everything as cubes. There are a lot of visual markers on walls in Valorant, to show where one cube ends and another begins. It's the timing for me, I often click too close to an angle or too late. Low elo players tend it crouch a lot too, and that makes me miss.
it's always vids like these that make me feel more confident about my aim, leading me to hop on and play a game. it's when i finish the game that i realise that i only had confidence and nothing else 😂
This is such a clear guide thanks! I think my aim is somewhat okay, but I'd always hold random stuff because I'm like "there are so many ways to peek." Now I have a better idea of what to do : D
I think one of the best tips in here is to envision your opponent before they peek. This ties in with 'always' expecting an opponent around a corner you are peeking and imagining them actually standing there. There are countless psychological studies into reaction time, but what a lot of people don't realise (especially when you do a reaction speed test) is that reaction speed is WAY better (faster, lower) when a person is expecting a target versus when they are not. Due to the nature of reaction speed tests (and studies), most people taking them will be prepared to react to a cue and will thus be faster. This means that 'This one SIMPLE trick (-,-)' actually makes you a lot faster at shooting people. I hope this helps someone, let me know if it did :)
When I first started val everyone from my teammates to my friends to my own sister told me I aim too low. Yet all they say is just to aim for the head. This video gives it so much more depth.
Thanks! This is very helpful, i like the way you keep calm, be cool and collected all your kills with a perfect crosshair placement for every angle peak and every situation that you're mention
I actually used guardian in dm to help me learn to go for headshots earlier when i played less valorant and it helped and you just put a lot of the stuff i had learned subconsciously into words and told me some new stuff so I appreciate you for this video
i like it he's explaining it in so much detail and theorize then that you have no questions to ask at all . I'm a little late to the party but ill follow your guide
Thanks so much for this video!! I completely wasn’t aware of the keyboard vs mouse variance and relied mainly on my flick ability rather than using strafes to reposition my crosshair.
I love maths and i think these tips were actually useful and i understood them really well All those aim guides and this is the one that has helped me the most And i started using the guardian and i really am popping off Thank you fish chair

great video! I learnt most of that stuff by watching your stream tho, but it's nice to see everything explained in detail. Also: a good song in my opinion is "slingshot" by good kid. with that being said, have a nice day!
I've been doing pretty bad at the game lately, and have been wanting to practice my aim more but I get bored and jump into comp and lose. But you posting this guide was just the perfect timing for me, thank you.
As a new player I feel the best with Guardian, I even got Ace with it. But I saw everyone is buying Vandal so I follow that. But now it makes sense why Guardian feels better if you can land headshots.

Everything you said is true but the lower you go in elo, the more unpredictable the enemys are what makes the crosshair placement more difficult
That's why it's good practice so once I go to higher elo then you can one tap anyone
