I'm torn about these guys. Love watching the chases and I understand the feeling, the rush, the skill & excitement involved BUT it's still incredibly reckless and selfish. I mean as hobbies go, high speed joyriding is extremely dangerous not only for the driver but everyone else on the road. I guess that's what's attractive as well but still nobody is entitled to put civilians in harms way this way.

True... But with wide grippy tires and good breaks you can reduce the breaking distance to about half that on a regular family car. I had a Opel Astra with 195/60 tires that had MUCH better grip then the original 175/70 tires and combined with racing break pads the stop distance in 110km/h was shorter than it used to be in 80km/h with original tires and breaks.

They go past blind junctions at like 100mph, they have absolutely no idea if someone's about to pull out, and if they did that's it, game over. At that speed there is zero chance they can avoid a collision. The fact they haven't had a big crash like that is pure luck, nothing else.

I wrote about Fragglarn for a sociology paper on ideal vs. real culture. Fragglarn is my example of real sociological culture. Dude is as real as it gets. I have an E90 M3. I stated in the paper that he is my spirit animal. I was going to site his pure automotive savagery, but then I realized that he isn't savage at all... just really really good. Always redefining the edge of his ability, hence the F80 crash.
Stick to the natural aspiration... it suits him better than boost, his driving flow.

You say you only want to be responsible for your own life... but what about your daughter?
Would you want her to grow up without a father, to not be there for her because you're either in many years of jail for hitting someone while driving that speed in the city... or because you've either killed or even worse handicapped yourself from crashing?
    That seems extremely careless...
Aswell as your view on the police? You really believe they're all abusing their power trying to get you? You're braking the law and their job is to uphold the law... seem to have a really twisted view on police. I am not saying there is no corrupt police or power abusing police... there are... but not in your case.
Why do you need to drive in the city centre of stockholm? Can't you drive only on the outskirts? A lot less risk for others and you can still do your thing with the police...
Maybe time for once to grow up and put others before yourself, maybe for the first time in your life.
