I would like to know the difference in pricing by percentage. Give the viewers a sense of how well the essentially equal tire compared. Is it a huge value or not? Is the mew tire a great value or just so so?
Come on autoguide... don't go down the path of random sponsored ad spots. You can't expect anyone to take this seriously when you compare the Sailus to a "miystery" tire... That's literally a joke of a test.
I thought it was a low quality Chinese brand but I have been using the brand on work vehicles for 2 years and they are very durable. They are not as good as other better known brands but I guarantee that for their price they are a good product, they will last and they will not burst.
I bought a set for my 2010 Outback they are surprisingly quiet and nice riding tire. Only negative I see so far is they seem to be physically heavier more unsprung weight for the suspension.
I don't think I see a corner that pushes the car beyond reasonable limits… And Real World Senareio is different for everyone. That's why sport daily tires exists? I think. Driving at 30KMH or MPH can be a very valid use case for some vehicles. And I think the difference would be very small between even performance summer tires and all season tires. I'm not too sure why break fade is a factor in this comparison, they are mounted on 2 separate test vehicles. And you probably want to test both at the same condition? Cold or Slightly Warmed Up. (Warmed Up to the Same Condition?) Not sure if scrubbing the side of the tires would affect performance, but I don't think it is optimal…
@@trudgyhd all he said was good tires, I guess I just wasn't quick enough to pick up the hint. ( english is not my native language) , but thanks for info.
@@bigwoodysauce69 LMAO for real. Any shred of credibility this place has was shot with that comment. They are literally called ALL-SEASON tires. It would be nice to know how they do in ALL SEASONS.
Sailun are just garbage tires. Previous owner installed on the car and they were VERY noisy. I spent hours looking for a failed bearings. At the end were the tires with only 10k Km. Dont waste your money on these chinese tires
How are we supposed to trust this test as gospel if there's a "mystery tire"? For all we know, you could've used another Chinese tire like West Lake or the British Arivo.
Tire tests on brand new tires are meaningless. Need to compare 4 year old tires with 45,000 miles of wear, abuse, weather extremes, impacts, potholes, and UV light to see if it could make it even close to its 5 year (60 month) advertised life.
Why not tell us what tire it was benchmarked against so we can decide for ourselves how good the test was?

@@ronlheureux7623 Hey, Ni Hao Sailun
It’s a GOOD tire that’s on sale this YEAR. Probably Grand Touring A/S.

The best for a budget tire it’s my tires here at Las Vegas NV. It’s good

Isnt it "Beyond reasonable limits" where the safety of the tire is needed???

Where's the numbers?
How did it do snow?
We don't test all-season tires in the snow. We save those conditions for proper winter tires.
ya, why test all season tires in all seasons.. who would do that@@AutoGuide

It's a shame they clearly were sponsored by this tire brand.

Wow... China is lining the pockets of AutoGuide now. Once these tires start to blow at highway speeds, we'll see if they pay AG to downplay.

I had Sailun all-season tires and they were absolute garbage. Bad in the dry summer and outright dangerous in the snowy winter.
To be fair, these tires are not winter tires, so it's no surprise they are not good in the snow.
They might be good tyres bt for all I know they can be shit when compared to others
No, absolutely a no go on these types of tires. If you can't/won't buy Michelin or Continental just go with Kumho, Falken, hankook, bf goodrich, etc..
Do you have some inside knowledge of these tires or are you just talking out of your ass?
LoL the fact that I have never heard of this tire in YEARS speaks volumes of its quality. Sorry, I dont want you sus, cheap, made in Chyna tire.

Michelin and Good year are miles better I hated my Sailuns

The difference between a good tire 🛞 and another one that is NOT good is clearly seen in the wet performance.
