    3:20 They actually speed ran their way to the dragon. The from the first episode up to the dragon fight take place over roughly 8 days, which is really fast with respect to in-world standards

      If the dragon was asleep (as they expected) they had a month to get there

    Fun fact about Emily Rudd:
    The reason she's getting so much attention is to a large Part because she's the actor for Nami in the One Piece Live Action in Netflix.

    The author is a fan of DnD and has played each of the Baldur's Gate games. They got plenty of source material to use for inspiration.

      She also made portraits of the characters from BG1 and 2 in her art-style and it looks great.
      She also drew some elves from other franchises and games, which can you can find at her blog.

      Running joke among DM fans is that story ended because author wants to play Baldur Gate 3.

    You're right about the racism, as the story continues you see more about racism towards shorter lived races

    Chilchuck is a half foot so he looks like a child, he explains this later in the manga, they live to about 50 (tall men live to be 60), it's a defining characteristic of the race to appear younger, but I do like the idea that it could be a commentary on adults who like like children in Japanese Manga and Anime

    Okay, yeah, about the dungeon... Uh, I'll just say there is more story to come. We're unlikely to see all of it in Season 1...

    About the "colliding atoms making a black hole" thing, it was all an overblown misunderstanding of the media. Even if we could make a black hole that way (proven that we can't, by the fact that it hasn't happened), the black hole would be so subatomically tiny that it would just pass between atoms without swallowing them up.

    • @nguyenston_
      @nguyenston_ 7 місяців тому +2

      A blackhole that small would vaporize pretty much instantly converting all of its mass to energy. Considering the blackhole in question has a mass of a few atoms, not much energy is released either.

    • @nnelg8139
      @nnelg8139 7 місяців тому

      @@nguyenston_ well, that's the hypothesis according to GR, but GR does not always work at subatomic scale. So we really don't know what would happen...

    you said that it would be 24 episodes, but didnt mention that those 24 would be the first season. the show is currently exiting the first third of the story. overall, there will be about 50 episodes, so the red dragon fight is actually nowhere close to the end at all

    I'm under 40 I know Ah! my goddess lol(haven't seen it yet tho). It's a really surprisin series in how it handles itself whether it be the more chill moments that will have this casually(I don't think that's the "right" word but idk wut to use here lol) chillin or off puttin instance before it goes back to the usual, Or how some moments will have more tension in them but have a more comedic or unserious bit or 2 in them(not sayin anime doesn't have that it's jus the way this 1 in particular handles it feels unorthodox to me even by anime standards that I can't find the proper words for (maybe I'm too stupid :p). Like the scene where Marcille & the Orc(Zon) argued over the history of conflicts in the dungeon while everyone else was preparin food. The way it was handled felt odd(not in a bad way), it felt like 1 of the most tense moments in the series(which may not seem like a high bar on the outside) but there u have but there u have senshi makin bread or some shit lol. I mostly watched it cus it was trigger & was jus expectin somethin more fun/silly. I was a little surprised they were doin an adaptation rather than an original series this time cus it's jus not their thing usually but then the series after havin some nice & endearin eps gets weirdly off puttin or jus straight up kinda "dark" & now I think I'm startin to get y they went for this. I do like the overall worldview like how the dungeon operates & how diff ppl choose to utilize wut's at their disposal. It's base seems typical even wit the meshin of "food/fantasy" it still comes off as really unique. Chill but has a sense of danger. Even tho ppl die they can be revived in most circumstances but still have to make sure they're not unlucky enough for that to not take place. I think Marcille & Senshi R generally the most "interestin" imo. I hope trigger does the entire thing cus this comes off as a new incredible work of theirs dependin on how it continues/concludes. I really like the stuff u mentioned like the mix on Shintoism & DnD. As well as how pragmatic many of the characters R in the world. I really thought I was jus guna have a good time frothin over food I'll never be able to eat but now I get diff kinda pits in my stomach lol
