I don’t find the skirt to be super heavy. I’ve also worn this skirt in the summer with no sweating issues. The type of material the yarn is matters if you are a more sweaty person. Did you need 48 patches to make the entire skirt ? and how could I do if I would like the top to be well centered at the waist but wide enough and fluid afterwards? I would like it not to be tight is that possible ? in any case very beautiful skirt ♡♡ it suits you too well!
I believe I made 72 granny squares. And to make it wider and more fluid just make more squares or bigger squares and then use the ribbing stitch for the waist band and that should snatch the waist. Hope this helps 💖💖

I was never interested in a GS skirt until I decided to watch your video. First up, your vibe is everything. Secondly, belt girl here too. The colours are are lovely, which now means I have to go shopping for more yarn, and I am supposed to be getting rid of my huge stash, you are so not good for me right now, 🤣🤣🤣. PS: you can wear 'micro' shorts instead of underwear - with panty liner. Or you can sew in ( by hand) a short liner with a light piece of fabric to to cover the knickers again😊.

Well I originally intended this skirt to be a little baggier but it turned out to be more of a pencil skirt. So more is always better!
