- In this particular video I rework my grey water barrels & fix my first flush on my rainwater harvesting tank, I also install more gutters on my lean-to off grid laundry room.
Welcome to my channel PandaMonium. My name is Ausia and my dog's name is Moo-moo... my rig is the Lucky Panda, a 28ft 2018 Coachmen Leprechaun towing a 2008 Chevy Colorado or sometimes a trailer and 2014 Can-Am Maverick 4 wheeler. I live full-time in a motorhome off the grid with 700ah of Battle Born lithium batteries and 950 watts of solar. My channel is about living and traveling in my RV to different locations across the U.S. with various friends that I call my tribe, where we camp, hike, bike, paddle board, 4 wheel, go to events and venues, eat at different restaurants and explore new places. Certain times of the year I'm at my homestead in Williams the high desert of Northern Arizona where we are working on projects, homesteading, gardening and try to practice permaculture and being off grid & self-reliant. Just wanting to be honest & open I am transgender and part of the LGBT community. I welcome anybody with an open mind and heart.

Remember the weight of the snow, everything looks sturdy until a heavy snow weights it down. I was surprised when Ed and Sue were doing the chicken enclosure last winter. Working hard can be so satisfying, I really enjoy watching you figure things out and solving problems. 😁😁😎😎👍👍💙💙

Yes, being in higher elevation, we tend to get snow but the amount can definitely vary last year I had enough snow melt to fill my 2600 gallon tank, although it already had about 800 gallons in it. The year before, we had 22 snow storms from November to April 😊👍
@@rvpandamonium That's a lot of snow melt! The weather is very unpredictable now, it can be extreme. i had vinyl rain gutters too. didnt think that they would melt and warp in the arizona sun but they did.

I've been using Oasis products for a while and they work great for grey water and are extra safe for septic use. I was worried they wouldn't clean as well but I've been really happy with the results.
The plug really does hold back the pressure...when you pulled the plug I jumped 😅

I think your beetles will be able to get through those down spout screens.
Get some door/window screen and wrap it around the down spout screens to stop them.

what might be easier is lay the screen in the funnel above the tank, under the flat round screen. Easy to clean then.

@@rvpandamonium thanks, I just realized I forgot to say thanks for sharing the gutter project, I have old farmhouse with no gutters and I been thinking about adding a system to collect rainwater for watering garden. This video helped give me lots of ideas that I can do something similar around my homestead.

Where did you get your blue 55 gallon water barrels?

I thought you left those gutter guards? On all the time I have what is called Leaf Filter guards and I never remove them, and gutter does not get the debris in them.

A lady in Williams off of hwy 64 on the left side headed to Grand Canyon has barrels and tanks $25 per 55 gal barrel or $150 per 275 gal tank both food grade
I think your gutter covers are upside down rig should be down
