It always warms my heart on how friendly everyone is in these kinds of videos. I love how sweet everyone is to each other. All of the “love from *insert country here*” comments as well as “good night everyone” are just icing on the cake
My family and I always seek refuge in this cozy nook when it storms. Our twin girls, each armed with their favorite book and an apple, curl up and begin to read. My husband has his medical journal and I, recipe books. Holiday season is fast approaching, the time for good friends and good food! The only sound for a while is the rain and the wind broken occasionally by the loud snores of our dog, who also takes advantage of the cozy nook. Later we will have a supper of soup and sandwiches. Then its bath time for the twins , a bedtime story, prayers, kisses goodnight , night light on, closet door shut ,routine finished. Soon my husband and I will be cuddled together, planning a future for us and our girls. As sleep claims me I whisper a prayer of thanks, then drift into a calm, restful sleep.
Here's some things you could imagine: 1.) You are sitting here, with a warm drink in your hand. You have blankets on and you are snuggling up with a good book. While you listen to the rain faintly in the background; you get lost in your book and all is well. Peaceful. 2.) You are in a cottage in the middle of a forest. You have a fire going and you are also sitting in a comfortable chair. You have a warm drink in your hand, the book in the other, and you are wrapped in blankets. The rain is pouring down, but it only adds to the comfortable atmosphere. 3.) You are in a little fort, made of cozy blankets and warm pillows. While the wind outside slips through the crack of the door, you are nice and comfortable in your little fort. You can have a warm drink in your hand as well as reading a good book, or you could just be relaxing; your eyes closed while you slowly drift off...to sleep... Thanks for reading this guys! In reality, they tend to be very cold in winter, and require constant maintenance lest the wind and rain blow in. Also, the hazard posed by the hurricane lamp is of perpetual concern.

Now this definitely fills the bill for cozy. I love it. The rain on the windows, the cat and the drapes that can be pulled close if lightening and thunder get really strong (they can be scary to me). A really warm and safe feeling place - right colors too. All very cozy to me!

i always wanted to live or at least visit England near the Moors...the fog and country side..the storms and fresh scents..i am there now in an old English cottage snug in my room with an old woodstove,candles and the windows with a beautiful view and soothing rain sounds

The combination of wind and rain is one of my favorites. Growing up my parents enjoyed planning day trips around storms and I usually got dragged along. I guess they were storm chasers before the term really became common. My only complaint is that the sound isn't as realistic as it could be. The sound of this rain is a constant intensity which wouldn't be possible with strong gusty winds. Normally as the wind gusts it drives the rain at higher intensities creating surges or banding. I'm sure the majority of folks won't notice or care so it's still effective.

Friends of mine own Ponden Hall: The Heights from the story ( the famous bare tree and piles of stones known as Top Withens up on the moor was traditionally thought to have been the inspiration for The Heights but it’s now accepted that it was actually Ponden Hall beyond Stanbury village). I’ve stayed there many times. They used to have the master bedroom themselves but they are taking B&B guests now, so they’ve returned the master bedroom to as close as is described in the story. This video here is pretty much perfect: the wooden casement surrounding the bed, of course the original could be shuttered off at night for privacy, the position of the bed, even the ‘climate abroad’ is perfect isn’t it lolol It doesn’t take much imagination for me to spook the heck out of myself imagining that freezing cold hand coming through the broken pane and bleeding on the glass whilst the voice of a child pleads to be admitted 😰

I'm at my desk, wearing noise-canceling headphones, listening to this music while studying. Just one second after I took them off, I heard the neighbor's baby crying, cars on the street, and overall, a highly distracting level of noise. This video is incredibly helpful.

Ooo this reminds me of riding out Hurricane Ida down here in Louisiana!!The winds were not as bad where I was near the city, but places not even 15-20 miles west of us, got hammered with 140-170 mph winds.

Just put it on a loop, I found this by accident a while ago. Right click on the video itself while it's playing, then choose loop :), it's at the top.

Why did the lunch lady give her a side eye in the cafeteria and most importantly why did her crush smile at her? She lays in her soft warm bed, watching the rain and storm pass by. Ooo this reminds me of riding out Hurricane Ida down here in Louisiana!!The winds were not as bad where I was near the city, but places not even 15-20 miles west of us, got hammered with 140-170 mph winds.
