I was trying to figure this out on my own and my brain could not compute in which order to do the sides of each sock 😂 Thanks for the great instructions!
Thanks Ellen! Very helpful video; saves me from only knitting TAAT Toe Up. For some reason, I could never get the TAAT Cuff Down on magic loop. The two circular needle method helped me to cast on the neatest cuff - that I can finally gift to someone without cringing.
I need a little more in this video. I get this much, but then I need to see how I join in the round and do the first couple of rows. Everything is getting confused when I try it!
I usually knit a few rounds of the cuff on each sock separately then transfer each onto the two circulars or one but I usually use the two circulars method
Since learned to knit 72 yrs ago I have no idea how to do long tail cast on so when trying to add remaining stitches from ball one onto needles I am lost and unable to move forward. Do you know of a tutorial that would show this step. Susan Wyatt
I really struggled with this video. The focus was heavy on two sets of needles and the small amount of explaining about the magic loop wasn’t enough to make sense.
I've been making socks on 2 circs for a few years and casting on takes up a lot of my time. This method makes it clearer. Thank you! The other thing that eats up my time and patience is turning the heel. But I somehow get through it and I love the result! Great video!
The cast on for the second needle was not clear at all for me. When I went to cast on for the second needle all my stitches were above the first needle.
Great video. Do you have one that shows you how to do taat with 1 circular needle? Is it kinda the same with 2 knitting needles for the 2nd half of the stitches?
I don't have a video specifically for casting on taat with one needle, but I do have a video demonstrating how to knit taat socks on 1 needle or 2, ua-cam.com/video/t2_R06KndU8/v-deo.html. Happy knitting!
how many stitches did u cast on very very confusing ...i have no sock yarn or small needles ....i want to use worsted weight number 4 but i dont know what sizes needles ...i think it easier for me to do 2 socks at a time magic loop ................can you please tell me what to do needles size and yarn and what method ....i am a new knitter and i am a very vry slow learner ..TYIA ..
If you are a new knitter, I highly recommend using a pattern for socks because it will give you all the information you need as far as stitch counts, needle sizes, yarn weight, etc. You'll be able to focus on your knitting without having to worry about the math related to all of these variables.
I’m sorry I found this confusing for magic loop. It would have been better to have shown both methods. I know how to do it and got confused by this. Great tutorial for two needles but not for the magic loop. You just confuse. Don’t worry I’m sure there’s other vids on magic loop and I will check in for two needles in the future. Thanks.

Super instructions! Easy, simple and makes perfect sense, thank you so much 😁

This was incredibly clear. I will come back to this video for my next few pairs of socks.
Wonderful explanation for someone who hasn't a clue how to begin this method....me! Well done, thank you!

I believe this will be the method for my next pair of socks.
Did I miss how we connect the tubes?

Love the videos. Easy to follow too. How can I get the pattern for the stripe socks .
The Sundog Socks Pattern is available on my website, shop.thechillydog.com/products/sundog-socks-knitting-pattern-pdf.

Por favor, en español. Al menos cada número de vueltas, aumentos, etcétera. Muchas gracias.
I’m too dyslexic to understand how to use just one needle after this video :(
