    Great way of explaining the BP role. But would love to understand the 'how' the work is delivered. How do you ensure you work with the business, what exactly does the BP do to make the relationship work?

    If you are early (1-2 years) into your career, what roles should you be looking for to help you become an HRBP? Thank you!

    • @AIHRAcademytoInnovateHR

      People often start in more generalist HR roles Andrew, before progressing towards a (junior) HRBP role. Think HR generalist or a variety of more specialist roles. That way you build a deep understanding of how HR works and how business needs can be solved through impactful HR solutions.

    Hey Erik!
    Which HR department is responsible for keeping a track of their employees’ skillsets?
    Also, Is there any specific AIHR community which I can join?
    Btw, love the content. 🌸
    Keep going. 🎉

    • @AIHRAcademytoInnovateHR
      @AIHRAcademytoInnovateHR  Рік тому

      Hi Tanmay, glad to hear you love our content!
      The HR department responsible for skills management or competency management would be the talent management team or learning & development (L&D). These teams are responsible for identifying the skills available within the organization, identifying skill gaps, and planning for training or recruiting to fill those gaps.
      To join the AIHR community you can go to www.aihr.com. Community membership comes with any of our courses.

    Can anyone tell me can I make lateral step from Recruitment Business Partner to HRBP? I also worked as HR advisor, but in Shared Services Center. I would like to do some certification that would help me to move quickly to HRBP job.

      While I was working in TA, I saw a recruiter with a SHRM certification get hired into an HRBP role within the org. So it’s possible but I think it’s rare. It’s hard to move from TA into other HR functions.

    Couldn't thus functions be fulfilled by a CHRO?

    • @AIHRAcademytoInnovateHR
      @AIHRAcademytoInnovateHR  Рік тому +1

      Yes, in smaller companies you may see a CHRO or HR manager take on the role of a (part-time) HR business partner. In larger organizations you often see full-time HRBPs.
