PhilthyCo RC / philthyco1 My R/C Parts Store www.ebay.com/str/predatorparts Speed testing the bone stock Imex Warrior Buggy so I can compare it later when I install full ball bearings.
@@philthyco1 HI Philthy. I am just getting Started in RC cars. So I have alot to learn. Protinker has two Warriors that need to have the servos replaced for $99.00. He is throwing in the servos. Is this a good deal since these models have been discontinued? I contacted Imex and they are telling me that the brushed warriors cannot be upgraded to 2S or 3S batteries but I am seeing that you have done so? Also can other upgrades still be had for these models such as bearings and brushless motors? My friend and I (both in our 60's) want to give it a shot and thought that this might be an inexpensive start for us. There is a nearby indoor dirt track for these known as adrenaline racing where we would like to run these.
@@bryanwinter3289 Yes that's a very good deal ..it's very easy to change the servos.. at $50 each you can't beat that although parts can be a bit hard to get.. IMEX Model does still have most of the parts available but who knows for how long because they're not producing more..it will take a 2s battery for sure in stock form no problem and if you were to upgrade to brushless I would suggest getting ball bearings and also the metal diff gears.. I'm not sure if IMEX Model has those in stock at the moment it's been about a year since I checked.. another good cheap buggy to get into the hobby with that has plenty of parts is the FTX / Integy buggies.. many companies sell parts for it
I was talking about full ball bearings throughout you would have to disassemble it to install them all, just so you know this model has been discontinued so parts availability will probably not be good in the future.
The company is imex and I believe they're based out of Florida, it was $59 RTR when I bought it, Pro Tinker Toys is the website I bought it off of you should be able to Google it and find it. This company has been around for a while but they just don't get much recognition.

Yep thats the plan, thinking about going brushless after that.
@@SteadfastRC Try a 1040 brushed esc on 3s for awhile..The motor in my brushed renegade did ok on 3s ..At least on the street

@@philthyco1 Thanks Philthy. Can I just plug a 2s in or do I have to make other Mods for it to accept it.
Hi I am about to order me one,, so do u think the blue or the red? And I heard u talking about bearings to install where? Please advice

How much does it cost? And what company sells them to the public?
