I've played so much Bloodborne, but I never knew the bosses could be utterly destroyed like this. Couldn't tear my eyes away from your run :) Amazing!
That was a fantastic run. The way you fought the shadows was way different than what I do. I killed the two sword guys first and got in the face of the mage and he couldn't do anything. But shit i guess that's why you're the runner and I'm not lol

Watching speedrunners is how I was able to learn to beat so many of the different bosses.
Genuinely one of the all time greatest games, and a great game to speedrun. Good stuff.

Metal Gear Bloodborne nice
I've watched several of these speedruns for the past few weeks, and just now I'm realizing there's a binary clock behind the timer. I didn't pay much attention to it at first, thinking it was a random animation.
But does it work properly? I feel like it skips a few bits every now and then
I noticed it right away when they first started doing that. Definitely a really cool touch!
I want to get into speedrunning just so I can give skips real names.

Why do you hate it? Take the time to learn it and you can do it too.
I mean they have spend actually 100s of hours learning how to do it in a few minutes

I used to run BB back in 16" (Standard PS4) these new skips/strats are blowing my mind...
In the last 2yrs, I beat the wolf at beginning and killed couple of mobs then gave up for a year, and then went over this again last year...maybe I should give it a try again?

I've played a fair amount of video games in my lifetime, fewer then some, more than some others. This game, this game here, is an absolute master craft. Mechanics, artwork, atmosphere, story, seamlessly interwoven into each other, where each aspect elevates the other. Love watching it get dominated.

What about lady of yharnham in the chalice dungeons? You need her for all bosses trophy, she took me forever to get for the plat is why I wonder why she wouldn’t count
we do most of the chalice dungeons in a different category called "All Trophies" it's about 3 hours long.

Why can't you submit your run if you quit out on a door?
Jesse Delaria I believe it’s because Bloodborne leaderboards are timed using in-game time rather than real-time, and it’s possible to quit out while opening a door, reload the game and have the door already opened without the animation adding to the in-game time. Which means that you’d save time by quitting out and reloading for every single door opening in the game, which nobody wants to do because it’s tedious and boring

Holy shit, i didn't know you could get in the upper cathedral ward or fight that amygdala... i beat bloodborne way back in 2014 and i had no idea. I need to go back and play it

Bloodborne is a 2015 game, but yeah I platinum that game in long time ago (2015)
It's really cool but also disheartening to realize it took you 46 hours to beat the DLC then Ahady does it in less than 15 minutes.
Don't think of it that way, he definitely didn't beat it in 15 minutes on his first play through.
I feel that, but remember that in a casual playthrough you explore a lot. And if you're like me you spend way too much time messing around in chalice dungeons.

Just saying because ps4 doesn't have backwards compatibility, so I doubt ps5 will either, they wouldn't be able to make money off of remasters if they allowed it.

Didn't he miss three bosses? The wetnurse, the reborn one, and the giant brain?
Around the 26-27 minute mark, 37ish minute mark, and the eye isn't usually considered a boss, right? Does it have a health bar?
He definitely kills Murgo's Wetnurse and The One Reborn and the giant brain isn't a boss.
Wetnurse and One Reborn got slain pretty fast. The giant brain doesn't count as a boss.
The brain ain’t a boss but he did get the one reborn and wetnurse
He fought the two of them, I'm sure of it. The giant brain isn't a boss, sure has a lot of health though

TIL: Bloodborne looks very dull. Everything is just the same grey/brown colour pallet through the entire thing. It all looks so washed out and uninteresting. Boss designs look very similar to each other and not my thing at all. Glad I watched this as now I know I don't need to buy it. Congrats to the speedrunner, but even with that kind of knowledge, some of the boss fights still looked very easy. How many hits did that last boss even take? 5 or 6 hits and it was dead? Also, another one of the masocore games where you can just run past 99% of enemies and they don't follow you, even if they take a swing at you they just stay put where they are. That's bad design IMO, if you can literally run past almost every enemy in the game.
Huge pass for me.
