Possum Kingdom Bass Fishing tournament, Blue Line Bass Club May 4-5, 2024. water conditions, water rising, rain, south winds, air temperatures 65-89 degrees, water clear to light stain, fishing was slow and winning patterns included light line wacky rigs, trick worms, very slow presentations. water temperatures ranged from 73-78 degrees and water level rose several inches from the 2nd to 4th and dropped almost a foot overnight. I believe I would have caught more fish by concentrating on places where the channel came close to the steeper rocky banks with hardwood in the water. I should have slowed down in those areas and allowed the wacky worm, senko, fluke, etc.... to just fall and sit on the bottom before moving bait. live and learn....
