Orange really makes you look warm and glowy
I love how unique all of your pieces are! They are pieces that are not really duplicated and found anywhere else! I would love to see your accessories! Shoes, purses, scarves. I know those things aren’t typically included in a capsule but I would love to see how you pair your clothing with these items! I personally used to be someone who only wanted one purse to go with everything but have since collected a few secondhand to wear with different shoes And belts and it just adds so much personality to my outfits as well as making them feel more complete. I have items I keep in each purse so all I really need to do is trade out my Walet and cues. I am not so minimal now when it comes to accessories but I find that they really adds so much to an outfit and that I actually enjoy them!
Oh YES ERIN!! As soon as I saw you wearing that knit pumpkin pullover I was like “tell me more!👀” It’s so funny that things say you shouldn’t wear orange because that sweater looks sooo good on you! Especially with your current hair colour and that lip shade. ✨👌🏾I realised this year that, even though summer is my favourite season, autumn is my favourite for wardrobe. Looking forward to your sewing projects!!

I've always shied away from oranges and yellows for the same reasons, but recently I've decided to stop caring and embrace the colors I want to wear, and I'm so happy I did! Love love the orange sweater on you, I personally think it looks great ☺️

I just added a few orange and rusty reds to my fall wardrobe and I love it. I'm pairing them mostly with denim and navy blue. Thanks for the idea to wear sweaters with skirts I never thought of trying that!

You look great in the orange sweater! I have never thought I looked good in pastel colors and was told the bright jewel tones are more my color scheme. But I recently picked up a couple of very light pink linen tops. And I LOVE them!

Thank you again, this is such an inspiration for me! I'm just in Scandinavia for work and it's great to be able to go thrift-shopping here. You never find such great pieces for winter back home in Czechia 😃 as for the color analysis, I think it really depends on the system and also on the person who analyses. It worked for me very well and lifted my wardrobe and (more importantly) my self-confidence a lot, but I was very lucky to find a great typologist. You might have been told you should wear cold undertones because of your blue eyes or something like that, but all those rusty colours would never look so great on you! So I'm not surprised the orange sweater looks so great 😃 all the best from Europe x

Orange and yellow are two colors that are supposed to look good on me, but I've never felt comfortable in them. It's the same with purples.

Love love love the orange sweater & gray pleated skirt...and lol omg that outfit would have been absolutely perfect in my 1993 wardrobe! At 51, I do feel weird in pleated minis, and pullover sweaters don't play well with menopause, but it's awesome to see my great taste lives on 😉🙄🙄🙄
Full disclosure I hate orange and would never wear it, but from the start of the video I thought how nice you looked in that outfit. I was shocked when you said that you had a fear of orange not suiting you as it just seemed to naturally look so great on you, and from a confirmed orange hater that’s saying something.

I also have almost no orange in my wardrobe. I bought a pair of neon tangerine shoes because they were on sale but I found that I love them and want to wear them every day. Also, Good luck on the pants sewing. I'd love to see a video about that process!
I like the capsule wardrobe. Am hoping to see some of the outfits later on. I really like seeing the jumpers again. I’m a fellow long time wearer of clothes. And today I even altered a jumpsuit that was too wide with my sowing machine. Just did it even though I’m very. Very. Unexperienced. Someone else did the fitting. Not perfectly straight, but it still turned out wearable, yay!

Can you show what type of footwear you pair with skirts? I always want to wear skirts but feel like they look funny with my usual (very practical and not pretty) footwear. Especially in a colder climate

Dang, I was hoping you were going to do a video about sewing your plaid pants! I love that plaid linen (I'm obsessed with linen and sewing my own clothes!), and will definitely be checking out your instagram to see what you've made! Can I ask where you found the fabric?
I have a question (maybe for a future Q&A) about selecting tights and leggings to wear under things that minimize the static cling effect 😂. I love wearing skirts when it is cold, but they often end up riding up my legs 🙈

Huh. Does this mean you wear your sweaters without any layer underneath? I know people do it, but personally, I don't think I could pull this off, as they'd have to get a lot of washing between wears... If you do wear your sweaters on your skin, how do you keep them fresh?
I typically wear a camisole under or sometimes a tshirt. Under-layers, tights etc. aren't included in the capsule. Some sweaters I wear directly on the skin though, one fantastic feature of wool is it's naturally antibacterial so you can wear it multiple times before it needs washing!
