Max Effort Plyometrics: Depth Jumps

- Depth Jumps are the most challenging plyometrics that an athlete can do. The impact in these jumps is very high, athletes should not exceed 30 contacts per session when performing depth jumps.

I jump from my window. And bounce over my fence.
Definitely the next progression in the series.
I jump off a building and then jump over a bus

Good. Just make sure your heels don't touch the ground.
real
@@szqvii real(i jump and my feet don't leave the ground)
Epic 😂
Just for everybody, drop jumps are from a lower height and the queue is to pop off the ground as fast as possible, and for depth jumps it’s from a higher height, trying to jump as high as possible (and therefore increased gc times)
I jump from the Burj Khalifa and bounce over Wiz Khalifa
and then get jump and bounced by mia khalifa
I jump from 5 ft. and then bounce over a hurdle.
i drop from the iss then jump over my house
Lmao
Thats sick.
RIP knees
incorrect . there needs to be lateral motion. otherwise its simulating jumping backwards to the muscles
When i jump from a long height and try to balance from a single foot it hurts and i beckme imbalance.
Any tips ?
please tell me you know this a drop jump and not a depth jump
The slight flexion of the knees makes this a depth jump. A drop jump is performed with little to flexion and has lower contact times than this.
@@TotallyAmSam debateable but fair enough answer.. thanks much
Those are drop jumps aren’t they
Drop Jump..not Depth
Most plyometric literature calls this a depth jump, but it's fine if you want to call it a drop jump.
@@WilFleming1K the difference beetwen the 2 exercise is the ROM..
Well a depth jump is absorbing and then exploding whereas you say to be fast off the ground here like a typical drop jump. Are you supposed to be fast off the ground with a depth jump too?
Lol no
you should still aim to jump up as fast as possible but you need to keep a good range of motion and squat at a low enough level for it to be considered a depth jump instead of drop jump@@Someguy8822
If ur in ur grouth spurt do not do thing exercise
It stunts ur growth
no it doesn’t, find me an article that says that
