LMAO the dad is hilarious and the mom looks like she's scared of getting food poisoning. 😂 This was fun.
Agree
Well for me i prefer restaurant food rather than my mom's cooking °~°
Oh god i hear knocking on my door😰
Wow, the dad know's his kids...
He should

Well he did make them

LMBOOOO GOOD JOB TO U ALLLLLL AND UR SWEET PARENTS
urs was mom's fav tho
Rip
I love your facial expressions. Too funny...especially the shrimp sweat.
😂😂😭😂😭
Dad was coming straight for them ..no holding back! lmao "I can tell this is the store bought cuz it's good" Lmao
He indirectly or directly roasted them. 😂😂😂
Dads thought process: Best is store, worst is youngest who never cooks, best is eldest the best cook, what's left is middle ones.
Got to love the Dad hard core honest and mom honest but being kind. Now lets let grandma try it and then drag them into the kitchen for a lesson.. LOL
I. NEED. THIS.
The way they talked about grandma i think she might’ve passed away
You know its funny because im not american but that korean dad has the most stereotypical rich white american guy voice I‘ve ever heard, like he‘s straight out of some 80‘s sitcom
Yes!!!
Right lolol
I love your username & cute profile pic💜🤭
He sounds like Carlton Banks. He’s Asian Carlton!
@@isabellamilne5211 And he's dressed like him tooo😂😂😂
Korean Dad genes in full effect: "This daughter made this one. This daughter made this one. This daughter made this one." 4 out of 4. Dang...
I love how in the end they show their mom teaching them how to make it properly, it's such a nice touch :)
Their mom was too sweet
The parents are very good looking, especially the dad. Looks like a movie star.
I agree this is such a beautiful family!! I love the dad's vibes
The daughters are all really pretty too!
Yup both very goodlooking
the dad looks like an Asian Pedro Pascal
@user-zd3ln9vd5t The dad is South Korean. My dad is a pastor so I have been to a lot of pastor family retreats lmao A lot of South Korean pastors ik have a similar appearance as him
The dad and mom have a different on camera personality. You can see just a little which daughter took after which parents most.
Okay is this not the cutest family ever
i love yew
Ok my dyslexia kicked in and I read "this is not the cutest family ever" and I was so mad hahaha
@@sierrahartsgrove6025 I don't have dyslexia and even I read it like that
@@sierrahartsgrove6025 lmao same
had to double take to read this haha
the mom's voice is so soothing 😌
She's so cute 😌😻
I love that the parents had such different preferences; it gives more versatility in rating and shows what different aspects ppl can look for in their kimchi.
It feels weird being a small town swedish girl and knowing more about kimchi making than they do XD Shout out to my lovely korean neighbors who taught me to eat, love and make kimchi!
omg your neighbors sound so sweet ahha see I wish I'd learned sooner too 😪
@@joelleolol They are like a extra set of grandparents (just with very different food and culture) ^^
I'm Turkish and unfortunately I don't have Korean neighbors but I do know how to make kimchi because it's so delicious and also it's way cheaper to make it yourself since there is no Kmarts where I live
@@ececiel2755 Hats off to learning it by yourself! (store bought is not as nice as homemade so be glad you learned :P )
SAME LOL
Mom :*trying to sugarcoat it*
Dad: When you taste really good Kimchi you gonna know
“Calling all the ancestors to come thru” -me when making My families recipes bc I know ima fail 😂
This is one of my favorite videos that buzzfeed has produced lately!
i'm literally crying tysm
@@joelleolol oH wait a sec👁👄👁
The dad lowkey looks like a Korean version of Pedro Pascal
that dad is like omnipotent-
omniscient!
Y’all are literally iconic n gorgeous-- *chefs kiss* everyone gets 10/10 for effort and danielles shrimp sweat comment has me DECEASED
HAHA truly danielle is the comedian tysm jennie
“Without a Recipe” What a Try Guy replication.. lol
Omg I was thinking the same thing😂
Yeah they are sus since try guys left
you're totally correct in that I love the try guys and they make these videos super well! on the other hand though, I'd seen a lot of different youtubers try this sort of video besides them and I thought it was a great way to approach a topic I'm personally really passionate about, which is preserving culture through food and shared experiences with family:) I have a ton of respect for the try guys and hope yall can understand and enjoy their vids as well as mine!
for realll
Saying "I can make pasta" like an achievement gives such youngest sibling energy... XD
my youngest bro can only make pasta and hes so proud of it too so i get it haha
Honestly tho "shrimp sweat" got me chuckling XD
This family needs their own show. They're all lovely
I absolutely love how they ended the video by making it again all together. 🥰
This is fuego!!! WE NEED MORE OF THIS CONTENT
I shall try haha
I love this family, freaking hilarious. Hope they get more videos out
This was so sweet. Loved this family!!!
Would love to see more videos like this! The dad was hilarious
The best part is the kids learning how to make it at the end.
Seriously dad is so honest and mom is so sweet they definitely balance one another ❤️
Yes! Loved this family. Such a wholesome family and the dad was too funny!
Dad is BOSS Mom is so Kind and soft spoken!
The dad really knows his daughters!
Their mothers voice is so relaxing and light.
This was so relaxing to watch for some reason. I loved the dynamic. Im latino and it was nice seeing a culture change in these challenges. Loved it.
this was SO CUTE and relateable and hilarious to watch. and what a gorgeous family
YAYAYA MORE JOELLE CONTENT
aw THANK YOU ARIA :):):)
Very cool. .I love seeing stuff like this and learning about different cultures and traditions
Please bring them back!!! This was so wholesome 💓
This is irrelevant, but these girls touched my heart, because my mom is Chinese and Korean and I was born and raised in San Francisco. lol And both my Chinese grandpa and my Korean grandmother didn’t really teach me much because they were both very accustomed to American life.
This is great! Hoping for a series
I love this series!
What a lovely family♡♡
more of this family please! 🥺❤
I love these video concepts
Have you watched the Try Guys? They have a whole series on cooking without a recipe
I loved this! More please. More kids trying to make traditional food
Hilarious! 👌🏽 I need more episodes from this family.
What a GORGEOUS family 😍😍
Nice effort girls!
As a Korean-American myself, I've never made kimchi on my own yet. After watching my mom, I have a good idea of the general directions, but there are steps I'm still not sure about. Oh, The flour paste is an important ingredient too!
WOW THE DAD KNOWS HIS KIDS COOKING!
this family is beautiful 🥺🥺🥺❤
This is hysterical! Bring in grandma for a follow up video to see if they can do better and impress Dad
This was awesome. More videos like this.
Dad is brutal 😂😂😂 What an amazing family. We need more of these
Love that they chose a recipe they were all blind to making and the parents were so brutal about it all in the most loving way. The mom gave strong points in the dishes she liked and the dad knew his kimchi very well and wasn't afraid to take jabs at what he felt was off, but in the end of the day knew the dish well enough to even pinpoint who he thought made it perfectly.
Please make more of these!
Their parents seem really cool
Such a beautiful family. OMG
Your dad seems so fun to have as a dad!
I always tell Danielle to ask God about everything--so good job, Danielle!
I love the dad's honesty and homegirl calling to her ancestors 🙂
I love the dad!!! He is so brutally honest!!
Great episode I would love to see this group make another dish without a recipe.
ur parents seem so sweet awe
The parents r so chill omg
love their dad and his voice lol
I thought it was just me. 😆
Ok they need their own sitcom LOL. Also because the mom has a such a sweet lovely soft spoken voice adn the dad has nice hair and a confident voice they remind me of AMY's parents from everybody loves raymond but younger and Asian!!
We need more of this family 😍
LMAOOOO I loved this!!!
ily friend :)
As a korean guy, the way she said "gochugaru" hurt me inside. 1:03
Asian-American things.
Should pronounce "t" properly
"gochu't'garu"
@@AntonioJay1204 It's closer to kot-choo-kah-roo
i'm not even korean but i felt offended as well
I was questioning if she was the chinese parent, but her saeujot was correct so I was like oh.. i guess in her head she was trying to make the first one sound american lol
Wow I feel special that my mom showed me how to cook...because I know that recipe by heart!
I loved this!
Love this content
Beautiful family
So good!
Mom, Dad and daughters need their own reality tv show! Dad, especially, is hilarious.
Such a fun and beautiful way to honor his and the girls’ Korean heritage!!

Very nicely done and entertaining too!
This felt so wholesome and comfy. I wish I was part Korean just because of this video haha
Nice family! Lovely parents!
Super cute video! I love kimchi! The girls did an amazing job much better than I would have lol I feel it needs to be said though in my heart.. I feel like without a recipe belongs to the try guys
The oldest one is so well spoken. Wish I could talk like her
I loved this! I want to make authentic kimchi at home ❤️
