Very useful video THANKYOU! ive just taken delivery of this model and have been completely stumped as to what the additional spray head is for and where it is supposed to go. Many thanks for a clear and concise video. Much appreciated
Thank you. My school has one of these and I couldn't get it to start. I thought the time delay thing was the duration of the program and was confused to as to why it didn't start. Turns out it would. after 3h if I hadn't watched this
Hello there!!! We had a pressure issue & now the ‘check water’ light stays on. I have sorted the water pressure issue & now I need to ‘Hard Reset’ (ie the ‘Key Dance’ reset). The ‘hold start for 3 seconds’ won’t work & the machine is in a constant phase of ‘pump’ Can you let me know if you know the ‘key Dance’ for this model?? If you can I’ll be sooooo pleased!! 🙈
Very interesting video, the good lady purchased this model 2 years ago and is finding that the bottom is not draining and the program does not switch itself off. I have cleaned the filter and put in cleaner, its seems to have worked but it comes up also with "check water" light. Can you give me any ideas much appreciated . Regards
Normally it is an indication there is a problem with the water inlet when it says "Check Water". If it is not pumping out though it is more than likely a problem with the waste outlet or drain where the water goes out of.
hi i just boght exactly the same DW but i can not use it ,it some proplem with the water sensor or valve ,i checket the water is connected but after 2 min of run the water light come on ,coud you help me to fix it?
Sounds very strange, as the machines are normally tested in the factory before they leave. Just check the water has been turned on with whoever installed it, as it sounds like there is no water getting to the machine
I have this model and after two years it either has a leak in the base triggering the Check Water light (anti-flooding sensor) or it has a defective pump. We don't know which but either way it seems to be poor. Can I ask if you have experience of the plastic lining splitting? Great presentation by the way!
@@lords-electrical Not to our knowledge though it was passed on to us from a good home. We haven't used it that much but it seemed to work to begin with. We are not frequent users and generally light loads as I don't put pans in. Bit disappointed as the last Bosch lasted 20 years and now don't know what to do with this one as it is expensive to repair but too new to junk
@@lords-electrical Maybe some other way of moisture getting in but nothing we can see. Bosch say sensor and an engineer suggested pump (as it doesn't seem to be producing heat and moving through the process properly) but wither way it is disappointing and undermines my Bosch confidence :-(
A pre rinse is used at the beginning of the program to wash off food residue. This is ideal if you don't get rid of food or the majority of it before putting the items in the dishwasher. Also it can be useful if you are putting on a heavy load, it can help to get the very dirty items clean.
Hi, i'm from Indonesia, I've using bosch dishwaher SMS40E32EU for 7years. No complaint at all, love it. So simple to used.
very soothing, and informative. You are the David Attenborough of electrical appliances. :)

Still going strong after 4 years. Great dishwashwer updated now but not needed.
Just watched it again as I want to wash my oven racks and learnt loads of features I had totally forgotten. Thank you for a most useful video.
Glad it was helpful, thanks for the feedback
The large item spray head, I could not figure out what it was for but I know now. Thank you, sir.
No problem!
Your voice is just sooooo soothing 🙌and cute :D
The quintessential salesman voice =)

I wondered what that kind of watering can sprinkler head was - couldn't find it in the manual

Please would you let me know if this particular dishwasher could have a top cutlery drawer installed. Many thanks
Unfortunately with this dishwasher it doesn't have the option to add the top cutlery drawer

No problem 👍

it isn't something we have experienced where the lining splits, unless something has dropped on it and cracked it?

@@lords-electrical Now considering Beko - do you do a review of that make too?
😍
Thank you !
Can you please elaborate pre rinse program?

Good demo.thanku..
How old is this model
It is just about current but being replaced now. It has been around for a couple of years now
mine came with no cutlery box 🤔
That is strange it didn't come with a cutlery basket, i would contact Bosch themselves and they should hopefully send one out to you
This model is one I dislike. I prefer the more fancy Bosch dishwasher with full stainless steel inox tub.
I do agree that this model does not have the panache of the better models in the Bosch range, but it serves a purpose at the budget end of the market.
@@lords-electrical I agree it serves the purpose. But my personal opinion is that I prefer the full stainless steel inox tub in any dishwasher
En español por favor, que no entiendo nada😭😭😭😭
I bought one today. Wish I hadn't. Its just plastic flimsy rubbish. And cost me £420.00 from Harrison Domestic. Kenilworth 😡
I would be surprised if it's this model as it normally sells around £330 for the SMS24AW01G
I paid £299 you need to shop around. Great dishwasher.
