- The Status Between Pro are focused on one thing: the best possible sound for the price. Without a doubt, they accomplish this. But what did they have to sacrifice to get there? And did that lead them to overpromise in certain areas? Seems that way.

@@NorbReviews I got them tonight. I think they sound great for separation of frequencies, but I’m not too crazy about the fixed EQ curve. The highs are way too bright for me, and I was expecting much more bass from a dedicated driver. However, I do love hearing every detail of my mixes. The fit is fantastic although I had to use the #2 earpiece covers for a perfect fit. All in all, I’m very happy with them. I’ve had none of the issues everyone else has been mentioning. The function buttons are solid and it only took me a few seconds to navigate the functions easily. I got them at their sale price of $99 U.S. Thanks for your video review which was solely responsible for me choosing these over other competitors. In my business, audio quality takes precedence over anything, including form or functionality, and in that respect, I’m glad I opted for these. Sounds to me, simply put, they focused so much on making great sound quality earbuds, that they forgot some of the simple yet important features. Great review, and very informative 👍

Thank you for this Norb, this is the first of your reviews I've seen and already have full faith in your opinions. The ads for these have been popping up a ton lately, I hope someone latches on to their sound quality idea but also changes the comfort. I find myself in the same boat, if I wear most in-ear buds for more than 20-30 minutes it hurts, even with the smallest size. But I'd love to find some with their apparent sound quality, too.

As for sound quality, check out the SoundCore Liberty 4. They have a dial dynamic driver setup, which is a configuration I’ve really come to appreciate. Comfort is *extremely* personal, so make sure you can try and return them if they don’t work out for you.
Honestly, the most comfortable earbuds for me have actually been the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds (first gen), since they don’t go in all the way. They have a lot of downsides (huge case, so-so battery), and I prefer the sound of a lot of others (including these), but comfort wise those are my favorites.

I listened to your review and a few others and decided to go for the Status Between ANC, a brand I hadn't heard of until recently. I've had these for a few days and absolutely loving them. Easily the best wireless earbuds I've ever had for audio quality, ever (and I've had quite a few). Im finding these a very good fit and very comfortable for me. The long battery life is a big plus. I'm not using these in situations where ANC and transparency are that important but they seem decent for those as well.
And it's great having something that doesn't look like yet another apple earpod design or a button in your ear!

Excellent no-nonense review compared to all others! Bravo! I ordered these because of the less costly price. I needed a set of "back-up earbuds" when I misplace my Jabra 85Ts -- which I do often because I'm clumsy and disorganized. But if these were $200 or more, I'd go with another set of all-in-one features/functionality ear buds. I like the small rectangular shape of the SBPs cmpared to the usual bulb-shape of most ear buds. But then I haven't gotten my SBPs yet. So I hope this new design wears comfortable.

Thanks for the help. Was thinking about these but I'm more going to look around for over the ear headphones after finding a lot of things that I'm starting to not like about true wireless ear buds.
TBH, except for a few scenarios (like in the gym), I much prefer over the ear headphones, too.

@@NorbReviews Soundcore Q45's. One of my buddies has a pair, and he is like me where when he is in the office he has a hard time concentrating when he can hear noises. He recommended them because of the good battery life, and when he does listen to music he has told me they have a good sound for the price point. Thoughts? I have a roughly 150-200 dollar budget.
I literally just ditched my airpod pro 2's for these. I love them they sound great, especially for music files when using the Power Amp app which I highly recommend doing.

@@chrollolucilfer7694 when used with an android phone, definitely for me. I have both a iPhone and a Galaxy Note 10+. I mainly use my Samsung for all things. Music, voice and talk are all way better than with my airpod pros. Battery life is insanely better. I now use my airpod pros just as a backup incase I ever have these die. But, with the battery life I can honestly say I've only had to pull out my airpod pros once. Even then the Status between pros charge up so fast that I only needed to use my airpod pros for a very short amount of time before being able to switch back

Great review. I was not a fan of the design but was curious since the audio quality has been always the forefront for these. I have the Liberty 3 Pro and they are the best set I have used to-date; glad to see you mentioned it as an alternative. Thx!!

I've been on the fence about these and thats because skull candy and raycon have really disappointed me in a few areas, the area I have the most issue with was the connectivity between the one bud to its mate, after lots of resets and information from the companies on how to deal with that I got annoyed and purchased a different brand.
This review helps tremendously because sound quality is number one for me but the second is connectivity, I am usually using these for work or just around the property so I usually only have one bud in. Thank you.

Let me be clear here: the sound on these is *MUCH* better than either Raycon or Skullcandy. Given your use case, even with any issues I mentioned, I’d still suggest trying them out to see if they work for you. Their support is excellent and it’s something I 100% give them props for.
I have to admit, I had to use spin fits with these for a better more comfortable fit. The button is annoying… should have had a button on the side of the earbuds. Getting them out the case was a nightmare for a while. But aside from those, the sound is incredible!! Honestly, for the price, the sound is all worth it. It is such a shame no other earbuds have a three driver combination. Three or more drivers just makes a hell of a difference!
I agree, that three driver combo really is fantastic. I'd love to see more wireless earbuds do the same.

Excellent sound. I have about 10 pairs of wireless earbuds. These are by far the best sounding earbuds I've ever owned. I don't even want to use my other buds because I'm spoiled now.
I listen to a wide range of genres, from classical music to heavy metal. I can't believe the incredible sound these produce. I don't care about all the other features, I'm into sound quality. I have finally found a set of earbuds that I can truly say I love.

We are the same. All I care about is bad azz sound quality. If the sound is not up to my standards, I won’t use them, no matter how great everything else is. I’ve never bought earbuds because I know they can’t provide first class sound, but these caught my attention. Are you a really “real” person? Not a fake robot? Ha! Two issues for me. First, simple-getting them out of the case. Not straightforward. Second, more significant, the blue tooth pairing is a PIITA. I run them between an iPhone 13 and an iPad. I cannot just switch from one to the other. I have too deal with pairing constantly. Thus, it’s simply not user friendly in that regard. Sound is great. But pairing seems dumb in 2023.

This is exactly what i was looking for, im a glass blower so i use ear buds constantly. So far jlabs have been my favs. But i keep seein this on my facebook and been debating on buying them. Thank you for the honest review.

I bought them and holy shit they are amazing. The eartips were crazy hard to get on.
100% this. It took me a while to figure out how to reliably take them off and put them on. I mean, on the bright side, they're not coming off unless you yank them!
Something worth mentioning is that they claim to be waterproof. I wore mine in the rain and ruined them. To their credit, Status replaced them with no questions.
Given all the downfalls they might have, to me, the sound quality easily outweighs the negatives. These aren't my jogging in the rain earbuds, they are what I tend to come to for critical listening when I want amazing sound quality. The sound combined with the good customer service at this price bracket makes these extremely competitive. Highly recommended!
Thanks for the heads up on the waterproof. I think they claim to be IPX4 which is fine for sweat and sprinkling, but you’re right, you’re caught in a lot of rain, I think they definitely get in danger. (If they claim to be waterproof anywhere then that’s the Marketing being… overt again.) Still, I’m happy to hear they treated you well, and I 100% agree with your conclusions!

Hi there, I got the Soundcore Liberty 3 pros and they do have a BA driver in its dual driver set up (1DD+1BA). The default tuning of those is just terrible but using Poweramp's autoEQ capabilities (thank god for that) makes it very impressive exciting yet detailed as well as technically very good for TWS world. My listening is on 660 kbps on LDAC and localy stored FLAC music.

How do these match up to the Technics EAH-AZ60? I’m in the market and a friend says I should go with the technics but he’s a technics Fan boy lol. I love technics turntables CD and mixers but never was a fan of their old headphones. However I heard they make an over the ear three driver wired headphone that I’ve been dying to try out.
Unfortunately, outside of stat-sheet differences, that’s something I can’t help with, so my apologies. I haven’t tried many Technics.
The Status are definitely cheaper (approx. $230 vs $150), but you’re giving up multi-point, noise canceling, transparency, LDAC (if you use Android, it’s better than aptX; they both handle SBC and AAC) and an app. But if sound is your only guide, I can’t speak to that.

I must have got a factory flub version because mine had no bass at all. I sent them back because they were more tinny than a transistor radio. For $100, I expected some decent range, but the ones I got played almost all treble, and on songs with heavy bass, all I got was a weird rattling sound.
Yeah, a rattling sounds definitely like it’s a broken driver. (That rattle is a common indicator.)
Could be the audio files you're using. If MP3 format is used, it's generally trash. Unless you prefer too much bass. These buds are geared towards balancing the sound, not putting more emphasis on one aspect of it or the others.
Yeah, I was using them while listening, agree with you except on sound, idk if I'm spoiled by wired gamer headphones but NOTHING compares anymore. I tried listening to Clique and it fell flat, tried a few other songs and just wasn't dynamic enough in the audio dept.
Oh, I agree. Wireless earbuds and headphones rarely match up to wired. Codecs and Bluetooth limitations really come in to play there. Even if the hardware is all there, the signal simply isn’t. Closest I’ve heard is LDAC (but even then).
So why did you say it doesn't matter in the video?
Wireless earphones output compressed sound which is lesser quality than wired PCM sound. It's because Bluetooth spec is bandwidth limited. The original audio had to be compressed to sent over Bluetooth

I appreciate you hitting on the big cons relative to normal use. like the lack of volume control, comfort issues, and difficult charging case. all very important features. I don't know if the trade off from beats and bose are really gonna be worth it.. volume control especially...

So, I have the Bose QC Earbuds as well (1st gen, with the ridiculously large case), and while I prefer the sound on the Status, I tend to use the Bose way more, and just like them better. Especially because I’m afraid the Status will hurt my hearing. I wouldn’t give up the Bose for these. (I can’t speak to the Beats, though.)
I'm curious how these sound compared to the Moondrop Sparks. I have the sparks and while they only have 1 driver, they should quite good I find, although sometimes the audio cuts while I'm walking and my phone is in my pocket. Kind of annoying to say the least. It's like there is a small deadzone and I JUST hit it now and then. Aside from that, I enjoy the sound quality. So I'm curious how these sound in relation. Wondering if you've ever reviewed or heard of the sparks?
I’m not sure about the Sparks, but the sparks have a single dynamic driver vs the Between pro having a 2 balanced armature, 1 dynamic driver setup, which makes a difference. I got to compare the Pro against the Truthear Hexa (wired). The sound holds up pretty well with the Status because of the dedicated armature drivers. (Tuning is different, but in general, it’s similar because of the drivers.) Being Bluetooth, you’re going to lose some detail, but I still think they held up pretty well (Hexa is 3BA-1DD setup vs Between Pro is 2BA-1DD setup).
@@NorbReviews I'm aware the sparks only have 1 driver, but was still pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. To my ears they sound similar to the earphones you used to get with Samsung phones. So I've been happy with them aside from the cutting in and out issue, and now that I think on it more the microphone doesn't work well as people I call constantly say I sound like I am far away from the mic.

I would not use these as a hearing aid. If you’re going that route, consider the AirPods Pro 2.
8hrs is really "meh." I read audio books a lot. My Samsung ones last longer. Plus the case holds a nice backup. What would you recommend for someone like me who isn't crazy about "sound quality" and more into the other features like charge and quality?
You know, I’ve been thinking about this for a bit, trying to come up with a good answer, at least in the TWS space. Two models come to kind:
The first is the JLAB Epic Air ANC 2nd Gen. Now, I haven’t tested these myself, but I do have the JLAB GO Air Pop, which promise and deliver 8hrs of battery life per earbud, so I feel confident the Epic would hit the 12 hrs promised. These are about $100.
The Master & Dynamic MW08 also come to mind: 10-12hrs battery life, ANC, and I have generally liked Master & Dynamic because of their emphasis on clarity. But it’s also about $300.

Hey, Kenny! Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve been meaning to pick those up for review. I missed their BF sale, but I think I’ll pick them up anyway: my next planned pieces are on the Momentum 4 and comparisons between that and the XM4/5, Bose QC45/700, and SoundCore Space Q45
In fact, from what I know, the Space Q45 vs the Status might be a good comparison based on price point alone.
(This might all go to heck if I can convince myself to get a pair of PX8’s or Bathys.)

For the battery, did you have noise canceling on? Bc they do advertise 8 hrs with noise canceling on. 12 when it's off.
This was the Between Pro, which doesn’t have noise canceling.

I got the SoundCore Liberty 3 Pro, the sound is amazing, I am not sure if these would work better to me, everything falls of my small ears not too small but for the in-ear seems to be.
If you like the Liberty 3, stick with those. I don’t feel these would fall out - they’re well designed for this - but it’s taken a long time for me to finally get used to them.
4:39 I was bothered by that advertisement too. While I don't know about Apple, they compared their earbuds in that ad to a Soundcore earbud that is about 3 models down from their best selling model, and not even earbuds equal in price. It is like comparing their high end sneakers with a pair of sandals. 🤦🏼♂️
I'm so tempted to get these, especially given they are -about $70- $90 off for Black Friday. Sound and battery are my main issues (of course poor comfort can certainly kill a pair).
While 12hrs would be amazing, I would be okay with 8, if the sound is _all that._
I'm a big proponent of hi-res using ldac and playing flac/lossless audio. And I have been so curious how these stand up to that. While I love my Soundcore Liberty 3 Pros, Liberty 4 and even ldac upgraded Liberty Air 2 Pros, the battery life of the L3P's has been a disappointment over time. Using ldac and often keeping ANC off, I still get only 2-3.5 hours. Heck, I bought 2 extra pairs because I needed something beyond that.¹

¹ ─ Sometimes L or R earbud wouldn't charge, because of the weird way they sit in the case, so I needed two extra pairs instead of simply one extra pair. 🤷🏼♂️
Funny you mention the ad and the SoundCore earbuds: in my first draft of this video, I called that out *specifically*, since it felt like punching down. Sorry to hear about the battery issues: at 3 hours… I’d have issues. A second pair is definitely a good idea.
Honestly, if you have the cash, for the $100, these are worth it, issues and all: their support has always been fantastic to, so they back their product, and the sound really is that good. But If you want something inexpensive with good battery, the JLAB GO Air Pop (Air Pop Go, Air Go Pop, whatever) is a solid choice, although the sound isn’t anywhere as good. (For $20, they’re great beaters, though.)

I got them for $69 for Black Friday. I couldn’t help myself at that price! My are expected to be delivered Thursday.. fingers crossed we both enjoy them! 🎧
I’ll get em when they come out with the sport ear loop like the Beats Pro earbuds. I had some Klipsch earbuds for a few years and with all the different ear fitting pieces I never found one that actually fit my ears well for the gym. Just simply laying down on a bench is enough for earbuds to pop out for me :/ maybe a skill issue.

I don’t think it’s a skill issue. Ears are all different, and I’ve heard about a lot of people with the same issue. Unfortunately, I don’t think Status is aiming for the fitness crowd, but it would be great if they did.
I use earbuds exclusively for music while working out. Im an audio nerd for my home stereo setup. Point being, I feel like I have a good frame of reference for sound quality. I have to say that these have been the best sounding earbuds Ive ever owned. Grain of salt time.....its only been 5 other pairs that I purchased after careful consideration and research. These are in league with several 250-300 dollar options Ive owned

@@BzBlade - if they’re your only option, then it’s fine. They’re clear. But I’m not a fan of using wireless for any sort of production. Of course, I guess it depends on what you’re producing. Doing digital music is vastly different than mixing down live recordings, with the later being substantially more difficult. But honestly, if I were in a budget, for production, I’d skip these and just go with a pair of Sony MDR 7605’s. They’ll make everything sound awful, but they’ll reveal *everything*, and if it sounds good on those, it’ll sound good on anything.
If you’re looking for all purpose IEMs, then these would do fine in a pinch. But while detailed, they may not be detailed enough for production, and warm the sound too much.
FWIW, 7605’s we’re my first choice when I was doing location sound engineering for film, and their clarity is why I chose them. They got absolutely no chill, though. When I was doing studio music work, we mostly just used Sennheiser gear, though never headphones, only speakers.
@@NorbReviews Thanks I don't do any heavy bass stuff, mainly guitars on different styles and getting into edm production. "if it sounds good on those, it’ll sound good on anything." That's a good idea to get a good sounding mix lol
@@NorbReviews So I got these just to try them and return. They're pretty bass heavy; can barely hear the mid range since there was a lack of separation from the over powered bass. Not sure if I just got a bad pair but I raise the 500 and 1k EQ and the volume lowered so maybe the mid range driver is DOA
Thanks for this review. Unfortunately my experience was great in the beginning, after a month the case stopped working. They would turn on by themselves in the case, the Bluetooth would disconnect, and the right ear bud completely stopped charging. After contacting Status they wanted video evidence that it stopped charging and wouldn't hold charge. They finally sent me a new pair of buds and the same issue with the right ear bud, the same charging issues, same battery problems. The sound is great, but not worth all the bugs and issues that occur over time. Hopefully they improve these issues in the next release (Status Between Pro 2)

FWIW, I really hope they fix the issues. If /when they release a version 2, you can bet I’ll be reviewing it. I did love the sound, but what you’re experiencing is precisely what I feared.

I'm currently deciding on what true wireless earbuds to go with for my long walks in the summer, and will need a decent ip rating with excellent sound quality. Currently deciding between the Bose QuietComfort Buds II, Sony WH-XM4, or Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 (I have the regular Momentum 3 OE, great pair of cans but waiting for HEAVIES to get released so I can possibly upgrade as they claim a flat response quad (8 driver total) pair of cans specifically designed for metal.
@@ezrarain81 - Thank you for the sub! I wish I could give you a good recommendation for TWSs, but the only ones I have experience with from that list are the Bose. (I adore the entire QuietComfort series. The QC buds 1 are my go-to gym earbuds.)
Re: Heavys - I ALMOST bought them when they were announced! But honestly, I just didn’t have money at the time. Now that you mention them, though… oh, I’m tempted…
So I decided to pick up the Between 3ANC, really hoping they fixed the previous issues. I'll let you know how it goes.

Hey man I was watching your video I kept saying yep yep he's right 😅😅
I had mine for about 6 months and left earbud completely stopped working so the claim that its IP 7 waterproof or whatever I don't think that's not super accurate. So the top portion of my earbud where the button clicks it's actually just completely come off and the little I guess you would call it a seal or whatever has come off as well and I can see the build quality is not that great but I completely understand that at this price point that's what you get.
Just really sucks because I almost wanted to go buy another pair just for the sound however I don't want him to break in six months again so I'll just settle for mediocre sound and something has a better Bill quality.
Also you're exactly right I would say about 50 to 60% of the time when I put my earbuds back in the case they would just keep playing music and even when I open to close the case again it wouldn't do it I'll have to take them out put them back in and sometimes I even had to turn my Bluetooth off on my phone.
Not the end of the world but it's really annoying when you're you know they should just work you know?
But they read any comments this time don't cheap out make something with a good build quality and good sound and I will pay three hundred bucks for it..

Honestly, I'm with you: if they kept the sound quality and improved the overall build quality, I'd absolutely buy that without question.
@NorbReviews I agree with you a hundred percent I understand why they did this they wanted to keep the price point at a certain well price but I would gladly pay a bit more for something with the solid build quality and just to fix the connectivity issues.
So I have a pair of Sony WF-1000XM4 and I actually really like them not if they were a lot more expensive.
I want to buy another pair of the Status Buds I just need them to fix some of the issues now even if that means hey you know these are $100 expect these kind of issues like we all expect from sub hundred-dollar earbuds right, with that being said there should also be a pair that are must say 250 to 350 depending on what additional features they have and make a solid earbud I would pay for that hands-down the problem is a lot of people are cheap and they go on UA-cam and they search cheapest earbuds under $100 and that's what people make 😆 🤣 😂
So that leads to the next point of a lot of people saying all you know this cheap Chinese stuff and blah blah blah I'd rather buy in America or buy American-made products no you won't because then you're going to complain about the price so I will gladly pay more for solid product even if I have to save up a little more I'm okay with that 😀
I had a set of these and they worked very well, Till the Case?Battery quit working. They sold me a new pair with redesigned case so far all good.
Great to hear! As I said, I found their support to be fantastic. I’m even eyeing their new 3ANC earbuds to see if they fix the issues I had with them.
Agreed they are irritating in the ear canal why don't they come in outside the ear canal like Airpods?
I can understand why not-because they’re ant to isolate the sound-but they do go a bit too deep.
I’m not a huge fan of this the AirPods do it, either, to be honest. I’ve found the most comfortable to be the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds (1st gen), in all honestly.

i bought them at a highly discounted rate sooo i didn't feel bad about taking the chance, but i wouldn't have bought them for 150.
I’ve had my Status Between 3 ANC earbuds for about a month now, and they are by far better sounding than any of the Apple earbuds and cost less. Also the battery life is longer than Apples. Contrary to your video, these have touch controls for volume as well as play/pause, call answer/reject, and track forward/back. I also find these to be quite comfortable but, as you said, everyone’s ears are different.
The case that mine came in looks a little different that the one displayed in your video, so the difference between your review and my recent experience could just be that Status has made some improvements since you did this review. IMO, you would find better earbuds for the money.
Glad to hear about your experience! But the Status Between Pro don’t have touch controls, just a button along the top. Maybe you have the 3ANC? Those are newer: this video was put out before the 3ANC were released.

The headphones I have now have a battery life of 8 hours plus ONE HUNDRED HOURS IN THE CASE I use them constantly and don't even have to charge them once a week but the sound on them has gotten really quiet for some reason lol
Can you use any USB C Cable other than theirs?

I got these, what i can say is that the bass is really strong, strong enough for me to say they’re better than my senn MTM TW 3 but the sound quality isn’t as good as crystal clear like my senns, they’re louder i would say that.

If I recall, the earphones charged from empty to full in about 2 hours. I’m traveling and can’t test that now, but I don’t remember them having a fast charge. I never tested the case itself for this.

Bought these and one earbud would not charge. Status never offered to replace them. They just emailed me to trouble shoot and never solved the problem. And to make matters worse Status spam emails me 10 times a day with their offers.

If they sound great, what other features are you looking for? Like they focus on sound quality. They are exactly what they say they are, sound quality.
It was less about what I was looking for and more about what people might expect for the price at that time. At the time this was filmed, the options that existed which Status advertised against, and other options at the same price, all had ANC, transparency, and usually EQ. Giving those up for higher fidelity sound was not ordinary.
Got a pair two weeks ago. The left side rarely charges fully and the touch features aren’t much better.
They’re being returned…….
P.S. They don’t sound any better than my jabra 85t’s.

the comfort alone seems like it isn't worth the money. As someone who uses earbuds for 7 hours a day I could not make it on these. and the battery life kills it for me.
Yeah, the battery life was hands down my biggest shock. The comfort was a disappointment. I’ve gotten used to them, but no way could I wear them for 7 hours a day.
Surprisingly, the Bose QuietComfort earbuds (I’ve only tested the first generation) can do 7 hours (advertised 6, but I’ve tested and they undersell that) and I found them far more comfortable. If you need longer, then I mentioned a few in the video, but I use Bose regularly since they’re my workout earbuds.
So.. Getting these new for 30$ should be a great buy 😁

All I worry is about how good they sound. All the rest of that stuff is nothing to me. I just purchased a pair and they are at home and Ill try them when I get home to see how they sound.
You’ll probably be very happy. The new ones (3ANC) also have an EQ, which is great because while I enjoyed the default tuning, I know some people don’t.
I just got my between pros. I find the bass response to be non-existent. As of right now, I’m quite disappointed in them.
How long have you used them for? And what did you use before? It might take a few days for your ears to adjust.
@@NorbReviews I just got them today. I’ve been in contact with Status Audio. We’ve come to the understanding that they really don’t fit in my ear properly and that is probably the cause of my issue. They’re going to send foam ear tips out to see if that helps. If not, I was thinking about returning them for their Core ANC headphones. We’ll see what happens.

I am doing a flat out exchange of the earbuds for their Core ANC headphones. I have to say that their customer support is excellent. I mailed the buds back this morning and I’ve already received notice of the new item being shipped but also received a refund for the cost difference. I have to say I wish more companies took care of their customer base half as good as Status has.

I think the played the min/max game with this: made sound and price the biggest thing and cut every curved they could to get there. I don’t blame them for it: it definitely works. But I really do hope they make small improvements in the future: the fact is, I wanted to love these. But here’s the thing: they stand 100% behind their product and their support is too notch. So no matter what, they have my respect, and even with their flaws, I often recommend them. (TBH, the biggest issue I hope they fix is actually the volume: it’s too loud at the low end, and I’m always afraid for my hearing when using them for that reason. If they fix just that, I’ll be a ton happier.)

If you’re definitely a no-go, one that I really liked and did a review on was the SoundPEATS Engine4. In fact, I literally just saw this and was going to post about it: amzn.to/47C6Jqb. It’s $90 for both the Engine4 and the Capsule3, which I’m literally wearing as I write this. Engine4 has excellent sound, and Capsule3 has a lot of the features missing on both the Status and Engine4, like ANC and pass through.

Wireless earphones such as this alreadyoutput compressed sound which is lesser quality than wired PCM sound. It's because Bluetooth spec is bandwidth limited. The original audio had to be compressed to sent over Bluetooth

Yesmine cost over 250 dollar and it's not even worth the 250 or even 200 plus it's not comfortable when you wear a hoodie if you excercise and the usb charging cable so damn short and small and easy to lose and get ruined

It generally is. Without getting into technicals (I made a video about this), for AAC, it depends heavily on hardware. Also, aptX here isn’t HD, adaptive, or even LL. Regular aptX isn’t really much better than SBC.
