I just don't really know how much those plastic clips or handmade can be trusted with heavier cameras. I'm sure they're rated for a certain amount of weight but they just look kinda flimsy to me. I'd be more inclined to trust paracord by itself rather than paracord connected to a plastic clip held on my nylon string.
