Maggie MacNeal is my favorite new vocalist from the past I had never heard of.... I cannot get enough...
I agree 100%. The first time I hear "how do you do" I must have listened to it ten of fifteen times. And watched her exuberance. Then I went to her other stuff. Not only her singing but her expressions and so on. Everything about her.

Hmm....A Psychedelic Disco version of Blackbird...... That is definitely a first...I can see blackbirds falling from the sky when the screeching begins.

I like it when someone covers a song and does something totally different with it - Linda Lewis's version of It's In His Kiss, and Mick Ronson's superb reworking of Love Me Tender (which, if you've never heard it is worth seeking out on UA-cam) are prime examples, and this is a worthy addition. Maggie Macneal always does a top quality job on a vocal, and I love the percussion when the song takes off!
