Actually worked great for what I’m doing I’ve already logged 8k miles on this duramax, I run no pcv diaphragms in my valve covers and I have virtually zero blowby so to say they are junk and useless simply shows a lack of experience with them or improper use of them
@ I agree this is not a one size fits all I should have stated that it needs to be the proper size, grit, and abrasive for this to work properly. Not sure where the above comment went wrong.
@@DrSidewayZ my guess is either he heard from someone "ball hones are bad" or he messed up his block from lack of reading instructions. But nobody who properly uses them says they are junk. They're actually convenient and feasible for an at home DIY guy to save a trip to the machine shop.

Never use a ball hone to hone cylinders they are junk & useless for that .

Did you read the instructions and buy the proper size and grit/material? They are not junk and work exactly how theyre supposed to.
