I have this and the Delica 4. Solid reliable knives that can put in work

I debated it so long that by the time I was absolutely going to buy it it was already out of stock

Love Cruwear, but too little too late, after the K390 came out in this series Cruwear no longer interests me.

This was a DLT Exclusive. There are more Endela exclusives that are in super steels. And there might be a restock on the knives at a later time.

you have to take the edge WAY back, in order to appreciate
what this steel is capable of. 10 or 11dps, no microbevel.

Cruwear is no better than any basic stainless. A couple days in the pocket and it was dull.

Tell me you haven’t used anything other than ‘China Stainless’ without telling me 😂

I cannot speak on your personal experience, but what I can say is that around the knife groups and communities I’m a part of, people speak insanely highly of CRUWEAR. These are people that use the steel, resharpen it, re profile edge angles, get it dull and do it all over again. Also using it from something simple as office carry to heavy industrial task and bushcraft torture test in the woods. They said it’s their favorite steel or it’s “the GOAT”. I would say from just face value without asking you for more information, I would say the factory edge is not a good representation of a steel’s edge holding abilities. Majority of knife blades are sharpened on a belt grinder that is quick and forgiving to the worker that has a production quota they have to make. Therefore most factory edges have a burnt edge that has overheated the intended heat treat of the steel. So it usually take anywhere from 2-3 sharpening sessions to remove enough steel before you get to “good steel”. And as said before the folks I am friends with sharpen for business and hobby.

Ru wear is great I've had this knife since it's release I use it all the time still haven't had to sharpen it . Bucks bos 440 doesn't even come close so Chinese steel comparison is a little harsh man . Great review and it is a great beater knife that will last .
