I love the techniques, however speaking as a solo wedding photographer, 3 assistants on a wedding day?! I'd be lucky to get two guests to help out. reality is to use your professional knowledge, do test shots before getting the bride and groom and its trial and error. We all make mistakes, learn from them and then move on. On a wedding day its very limited time with the bride and groom, so always have a plan of action. What people need to realise watching these videos, is learn from them, improvise and adapt on wedding days. Great stuff

Tripod, tether camera with smartphone. And shoot it with ad200 on a stand outside and speedlight in hand. Later compose in Photoshop. I do it always in interior photography. Just 2-3 minutes.

This was so amazing! And so helpful. I just got into using flash and it feels so cumbersome to be since I’m new to it. Ive been saying I want to be confident and know exactly what I’m doing each step of the way - exactly how you got it down. Thanks for the reassurance that it gets easier

bryk701 hey there, this may be true. but every so often you can ask the bridal party to hold a light for you. usually more then willing and sometimes they feel important doing so. better then sitting around doing nothing.

I would love to buy in to the Godox ecosystem. I currently use canon ex430 mkii , ex580 mkii speedlites. My eos 7Dii has optical wireless flash up to 1/250 sync speed. So I can get similar results like ones in this video, however the godox AD200 is apx 4 more powerful than my speedlites !

I don't agree with the "wow wedding images made easy", considering that you need at least 4 or 5 people to take a single shot and a lot of time wasted for that particular shot. In the real world, in a wedding situation, we usually don't have time to waste, and a lot of times we work alone, so shots like this are completely impossible. I liked the video explaining everything though, however this would be more fit for a styled shoot which it seems to me to be the case.

Very interesting video, lot of information but as on many others similar tutorials/ brand advertising video on UA-cam,some info are missing such as the metering mode used on the camera , were flashes used on TTL mode or manual mode or maybe a combination of both , was the camera set on manual , was a flash meter used to set the aperture ?. Besides of this , Godox are making good products and I am currently looking for a Godox V1.

Nice efforts, and ideas, BUT: the lighting is so controversy! conflict, if you look at the Groom, you made the light come from left to wright! see shadow behind him, and the Brides face the sun is coming from right to left! some how too fakeysh! but the whole idea was the warm sun light coming through the 2 large windows!!!¨ .. i dont now, looks very weird to me sorry.

But I was not successfull when I was trying to reach godox support (because one of my TT685C burnt its lens - so I need the spare part) over e-mail or any other department of godox by e-mail listed on their official webpage... How to get in touch with them? Is this intentional from them not to provide any aftersales support?

It's not like she alluded that she's doing this during the ceremony. During a ceremony, you can get the groom and bride away from the party to do posed photos. Learn to work with whatever location you are in and learn to do it quickly.
Even with trial and error, the first shot in the hall way could be done in a few minutes.

She said it was easy. NO it isnt. You have to mess with power outputs once you finally get them in place. Every new shot means how much time to set up and test before you get the correct image. Those people must be soaked in sweat.

      AHS Society hi there,
in my opinion it is very easy. each shot maybe 5 minutes max to take. in this tutorial it may look longer as i wanted to be able to explain my though process.
most of the time when i am shooting weddings the shot will take me no more then two minutes.
