Upper Deck hit a home run w/ S2. Quality control is the best since 19-20, although still not great. The Young Guns checklist is deepest since 2016-17 S1, imo. Excellent product. Excellent review. Thx.
Preordered 2 boxes, each had young guns of Raymond and Lundell, also got a Raymond pink dazzler. Yes, the quality seems much better than series one.

Hey Zeeree, the owner of my local hobby shop told me that series 2 was printed in Italy. That’s why they look so much better quality.
Seeing most people saying series 2 has much better quality. Glad they stepped up the QC on this product!
I just opened 1 box of series 2 and it is night and day better quality than series 1.

I found the quality has actually been pretty good too. Opened 2 of 6 boxes so far and both only had 5 YG's and 1 YG Canvas in them though which I thought was odd. Both boxes had a second french variant

I got 4 boxes. Total 3 clear cut base and 7 French base. Got a Raymond yg and yg checklist
I noticed a bit of a pattern with your box because I had a similar box, got that Young Guns checklist but also got the rookie materials card mine was that Russian goalie for the coyotes, and also got a Nils Lundqvist Young on canvas, also got the Eklund young gun but I don’t know if it was in that box or the other one that I got. On another note the other box totally killed it for me because I pulled a Hendrix Lapierre young gun clear-cut so I’m pretty much done and I’m not complaining the stuff seems to be a lot better than series one as far as quality goes

Thanks for showing,give edge to Series 1 with great inserts of young stars,but 2 has some nice YlungGuns with the RedWing players.
The packs being bridged is amazing, will save the quality of so many cards

You won't be disappointed with the quality control. All 12 of my base young guns from 2 boxes today were razor sharp. I was relieved and excited to buy more tomorrow.
been out of this game for a while.. saw fat packs at Meijer for $6 near Detroit. hedging I should have grabbed them.
I really like the new dazzlers.
You have to take it easy on the card companies quality control - They are working on old machines that haven't been shut off for maintenance since 2019!
Eklund one of the reasons I just ordered a box of series 2. I’m a big Djurgårdens IF fan.
I'm hoping everyone sleeps on Eklund until I can complete the YG rainbow...

In 17-18 and 18-19 the blue colour on the young guns was darker for series 2 so it isn’t super new for the design to be slightly different

I screwed up, I pre ordered series 1 before the checklist was out then saw that the red wings duo wasn't in S1 so now I spent my money on ebay purchases, loose packs, and series 1, so now I can't afford series 2. And as you can probably tell I am a wings fan. I will just buy seider, and raymond YG's when they drop in value.

They had Series 2 made in Italy, I'm assuming because of all the quality control issues that they had with series 1. But the results have been night and day if you ask me

Ive heard UD made s2 cards with another company based in Italy, maybe thats why cards looks a bit different. I noticed the same thing while opening my box!

Dude, for essentially the same price (a little more) you can buy a case of blasters and get 25 Young Guns give or take a couple... Obviously you don't get the hobby exclusives - but if you're hunting for Young Guns, and that's all you care about then just buy a blaster case... Obviously there is nothing exciting about blasters but you still get 25 Young Guns opposed to the 6 you're only "guaranteed" in a hobby box.... Look, the question is if it's worth the other hobby exclusives you get in a box opposed to the extra 19 Young Guns you will get in a blaster case? I mean I know you can pull some massive hit's out of a hobby box, but those massive hit's are so rare - but as Wayne Gretzky says - you miss 100% of the goals on the shots you don't take, lol...
a blaster case is like $400 cad lol its not close to $140
@@md_86 No they're not - they're $250 (USD) max on eBay. I just bought/won a case of series one on eBay for $225 with free shipping.... Look, if all you want are Young Guns, just buy a case of blasters because it really is the best value..... Not sure how the stack up to the fat packs, but you can get a case of fat packs (18 packs per case) relatively cheap as well.... Look, hobby boxes are good if you want hobby exclusives - if you want to have a shot at an Exclusive /100, High Gloss, Acetates etc - but if you're hunting YG's - blaster cases are easily the best way to go...
Can get 3 hobby boxes for case of blasters. Hobby way better value.

So the fine gentleman that runs one of my LCS said that these were printed at a new facility in Italy, so maybe that's the reason for better looking quality?
Can confirm they were printed in Italy. MVP I’m pretty sure was also printed in Italy.
