Good job!! Here is a suggestion, I would a cut the bent side of the rod and re bent it, but what counts is that it works in the end.
Hello Marco, hope everything is good. That’s probably what I need to get to secure my battery, I replaced my battery with one from Autozone exactly the same size from the original on the truck, the only work I have to do was change the terminal from the original small to the regular terminal, now I have to secure the battery like yours.

Great video! I am going to work on designing a hold down bracket specifically for this model of battery and a Honda Acty that can be 3d printed. It will probably be complete early next year (2021). I will post a video or link to the design once I'm done.

Here's a cool idea for a battery box. Try to find a old school coca cola cooler. You can a bigger battery and have storage space. I have pics and can inbox them

The oem tie down is supposed to be on the front of the battery. Thats how mine is and its rock solid.
Yes on the stock battery. But I’m not running an OEM battery.
