A little late, but here’s the information on this fight While Crash had voice clips from games like Tag Team Racing & Crash of the Titans, and Sparx had voice clips from what I assume is Enter the Dragonfly, Spyro was voiced by Edward Bosco. This is the guy who voices(I assume) one of the dragons in the remade Spyro 1, 18-Volt from WarioWare Gold, Tifa’s dad in Final Fantasy 7: Machinabridged, Ruckus & Viktor in Paladins, Ed in Street Fighter V, Fredrick in Detective Pikachu(the game), Skeight in TOME, Soul Sacrifice in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Kan-Ra & Gargos in Killer Instinct, Franklin in Hunter X Hunter, and Ahrah in Dust: An Elysian Tail Like Sephiroth VS Vergil, this fight’s music is completely original. But unlike Sephiroth v Vergil where it had one music track during the animation, this one had 2. Both were done by the composer Brandon Yates. I’ve said this many times before, but while everyone in my area was playing Mario & Sonic as kids, I was playing Crash & Spyro. These two stick out to me an insane amount and both played a humongous part of my childhood. So naturally, I was super excited for this episode. And, while it’s far from flawless, I really like this fight. It’s not my favorite one, but it’s still really good. The issues I have with it, however, are far from mere nitpicks. Getting the elephant out of the room, using Legend of Spyro is pretty bogus. Not only is it a reboot, therefore not canon to the originals, but it also completely ruins the theme of the fight, that being a battle of classic PlayStation 1 mascots. It’s pretty much Ratchet & Clank VS Jak & Daxter(which they did do, btw) 2.0, and throwing in Legend of Spyro because “It’s got the most abilities” just throws that away. I won’t say that I disagree with the results since they did use it(though, if they didn’t and Spyro still won, then I would disagree), but there were some mistakes in the research I felt, especially for Crash. I won’t get into them because this comment’s already long enough, but if you want to hear them, let me know. And this is a small thing, but I felt that Crash’s model was a bit low quality. It just looked a little blocky to me. But considering that it was from a PS2 game, I’ll let it slide. Aside from that, this fight is really good. While it does feel like they barely fought, that was more so to pay homage to stuff from their games, such as when Crash is running away from Spyro, it’s a homage to the many chase levels in the games. I love the music, I love the sound design, Bosco did a great job as Spyro, and it overall just felt like a love letter to fans of both characters. I didn’t even want to pick a character to root for because I love them both too much. To pick one would be to pick against the other and I didn’t want to do that. So I remained neutral for this one, but it did suck that one of them had to die. At least Crash is having more time to shine with the CTR remake coming out. Totally can’t wait for that.

The games separate from the OG trilogy or racing games for Crash are Crash of the titans and it’s sequel mind over mutant. Would love to see u play through those games. The gameplay is very different from the OG trilogy though.

The game felt cheap and was the most frustrating crash game for the wrong reasons due to bad game designs, overuse of instant kill nitros, glitches, unskippable cutscenes, and etc. All of those things don't scream great crash game to me. Seems like only die hard Twinsanity fans only like it because of its humor, music, and lots of its cut content. All things considered, it's alright, way better than most rushed games like Sonic 06, but nowhere near as great as it should've been because its gameplay is so unpolished & lacking substance compared console crash games before & after it imo. Also doesn't help that Crash's gameplay is completely downgraded from previous games in order to compensate for Cortex being the main gimmick for him.
I'm personally Team Crash because Crash Bandicoot 3 Warped was my first ever video game. Spyro's great but I didn't start playing Spyro until later in life.

Not quite. After defeating a boss that would make Crash universal? Just because he defeated N. Tropy and because you want Crash to win it shouldn't make him the winner. Crash definetely is great but Spyro has many advantages over him: 🔥 Fire 🔥 ⚡ Electricity⚡ ❄ Ice ❄ ⛰ Earth ⛰ And his ultimate ability - Aether/Fury would destroy Crash. A simple KO. So basically Spyro is universal already. And he's not alone. In every 10 generations a new purple dragon is born. So purple dragons are forever unlike Crash. Cortex might be able to create a time travelling machine but it's not the same thing. Have a nice day. 🤗

And : NO Spyro is NOT Universal+ (low 2-C), he's *Universal* (3-A... so, weaker than Crash)
