Thanks, Dave! It is interesting and useful. That is, in addition to the artistic task, it is worth thinking about the compatibility of atmos mix and stereo. Especially in the absence of a separate stereo mix.
I love this lesson so much. Thank you so much for the insight!
Great stuff, as usual. I love your no nonsense approach and the way explain something complex in a very simple way everybody can understand. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! VEry interesting stuff.
I'm glad you found it interesting.
I agree that the center channel sounds weird, but I can't help to LOVE how good it sounds for dry vocals, drum, and sometimes bass, if it is a mono source. I would love to hear your opinion on using the center channel with Stereo panning/Objects!! I have heard of producers moving the vocal slightly in, or even off the wall to include that center channel some. It is an interesting concept that I have been trying to play around with!!
When I've mixed in Atmos from stems, there have been times I've folded things down to the center channel or, at least, just fed information to it.
Nice content thanks
good one :)
Thanks
I also noticed that there is a significant increase in volume when I switch a source from being an object to being a bed while listening in binaural mode. Do you know why this is also the case?
HI ! It would have been nice to have a comparison also in binaural...
The binaural would be hard to judge, especially when using binaural settings. Which is a whole video on it's own!!
