Fannie and Betty are locked in a tie since no one has been selecting them lately (50% historical success rate not good enough?). It would also be nice to see Nipsey or Gary (80% success rate!) get another shot. And why not Brett? She matches roughly 1 in 3 times, very close to Richard's average. Besides, it's fun to watch how comically verklempt she gets when chosen! But, unsurprisingly, the contestant chose Richard today. I wonder if they had rules in place to cover this or if the producers would have gone into a tizzy. Use the second round as a tie breaker? Skip the second round and go to the first tie breaker? Beak is slang for nose. It was a very popular term for a big nose I the 70s. That being said, I think if was a very unfair question since it had such an obvious answer.

Just compare the super $5000 questions given to White men and the questions were given to women. Just like this one "Quick blank" compare to "to be or blank". So amazing that those time were injustice even on game shows.
Luck of the draw, no way they could fix the questions based on who was playing and I believe the head to head question depended on whether they had the money or not. That is off what Bill Daily said about the Kukla, friend and ollie incident where Bill said that if they had the money the question were easy, if they didn't they got a hard one.. I don't know if that is true or not thou..
@@sdlively27that makes perfect sense. These shows (like everything else) had a budget. If they we’re getting close to a weekly or monthly limit, they had to make the items more difficult. My guess is that they divided the annual budget into a monthly budget. Any leftover money went to the next month’s budget. This is just an assumption though.

The match is what the thing mentioned in the question is famous for, every time it should be, Tarzan swings, NY has crime, Gary is a dork.
