Don't forget that in one of soundsmiths videos, he had to open the video saying, "here's one of those silly characters FUCKING EXPLODING" because it was _Too_ kid friendly for UA-cam.
Remember that time when SoundSmith purposefully began a video by showing a Demoknight decapitating somebody specifically because being TOO friendly was the main issue going around at the time? Now we've sunk all the way back to regular TF2 gibs being age-restricted. Joy.

That was because youtube can fuck up, automatically flag your video as "for kids", and then sure you for millions because "you flagged a video as for kids and it's violent", but that was probably a very rare thing that happened a few times and got fixed, Ethan probably did that as a protest

This happened to me a couple years ago when I had a bunch of gibs piled up for a horror video. Now, whenever something really violent happens, I try to imply it off-screen in a way that isn't too noticeable... Really sucks though for a literal cartoony video game.
UA-cam sucks let's all enable adblock and cancel our premium subscriptions until they don't suck.
I don't understand how they think that being toxic to both the viewers and creators will get them anywhere but more people using Adblock and alternative ways of earning money.
