Save this list for New Orleans: Sweet Soulfood (A literal must, they are the best. There is no competition.) Reds Chinese (You also have to go here. It incredible and an experience) Trillies (Vegan Cheesesteaks) Breads on Oak (Breakfast) Bearcat (Brunch) Dat Dog (Drunk Food) There are a ton more, but I lived there for a while and honestly those were the places I kept going back too.
I wish I had unlimited vegan restaurant problems. When I lived in Las Vegas they were abundant but then I moved to Charleston, South Carolina and there is like less then 4 fully vegan restaurants and this is 1 of top tourist destinations in USA. When I go to Atlanta (4 + hrs away) I’m back at abundant choices. You really have to be in a bigger city to have a crazy amount of choices other wises... yup ya get it! I’m ready to go to comfortland! I love donuts and miss eating them sooooo much!!!
For most cities in the U.S., you can definitely reduce them down to 2-3 restaurant. I'm in Seattle, and 2-3 places will give you a good idea of the vegan scene. Hope you come through!
You should set up a google form or something so people can suggest restaurants in their cities! Might get overwhelming but it might help get you started!
I think asking followers who live in the cities you are going to visit is a good option for knowing what the best vegan places are ! Plus it's so good for engagement with your audience!! I believe in you and what you're striving to do !!!
I personally love milkshakes and the convenience of them although I get where you're coming from. On an unrelated note the people hopping in the background at 8:52 was so cute lol
That doughnut 😋. And hearing you use the same patient tone when responding to your gps that I use with my 7 year old when he points out the obvious had me snorting into my coffee this morning.
Went there today bc of your video. Got the vegan hot chicken sandwich which was ok. The hot sauce kinda takes over and you can't taste what the fried tempeh is like but all good. The almond joy donuts was the BEST vegan pastry I have ever had. Light and fluffy! That alone was worth the trip. Keep em coming.
Good point!! You might be able to go to vegan pages like on Facebook or whatever for different cities and ask people what are vegan places they would recommend before hitting up the city or even Yelp but it’s a hit or miss with Yelp.
Yo, you have a whole audience all over the country! Trust that people will lead you to good spots. Think about places you've already been, like Land of Kush in Bmore. You could either give that a whole Is It Hype or be like nah, I'm gonna check out Harmony Bakery or something else
I suppose a way to decide on which restaurant to go would be to have 3 or 4 choices depending on the size of the city, check out a nice restaurant with more fancyish food, a hole in the wall, and like fastfood/foodtruck places, pulling in suggestions from people who are familiar. You can get a good array of types of food by having a different type of cuisine for every meal for a day, or one type of cuisine for every meal for a few days changing cuisines every day. You could also research if there is a food that the city or state is famous for and a place that has the vegan ode to that food.
I made your tahini sauce you put on everything today! I made a sweet potato, Brussels sprout & broccoli bowl wit some deli ham I made and the sauce was perfect for my bowl! Thank you! You and Berto singing did it for me! XoXo
11:20 To get ideas of vegan restaurants to try you could do a youtube post asking viewers to write what u.s. city they live in and a list of their favorite vegan places to try. And you could also reach out to those specific businesses beforehand and ask them if they'd like you to review them and if they respond and say they'll have you try their best dishes when you come then you could go there. In Boston my favorite vegan restaurant is family owned and is called "True Bistro" however, die to covid they are not open now. And in L.A. my favorite vegan restaurant (of all time vegan or not) is Crossroads Kitchen.
Before you start traveling make an announcement of the city you might be visiting and all the recommendation will start pouring in especially the whole in the wall restaurant’s
When it's cold AF outside, I enjoy drinking ice cold water, juices, coffees, and yes...vegan milkshakes. The B I G G E R the better! I always have. Even if my hands have turned purple from the cold climate, my palate still appreciates ice cold beverages in ice cold weather. That BONE CRUSHER sammich!, and that strawberry donut!! I could and would inhale that all. Effortlessly.
I agree with the milkshakes! And RIPS milkshakes were epic... the first milkshake I was like “oh ok this was worth it” If I have a shake these days it’s a protein shake lol. Then it makes more sense to me.
First off, the ASPCA sad music!!!! 🤣😭 I’ve been before but to the Queens Comfort location. I can’t remember what the heck I got. I feel the same about milkshakes. It’s like a texture thing too I don’t feel the best after I drink them. But if I drink a small amount I’m good. Same with smoothies I can only have like.... 4-6 ounces 🙃
I agree with your assessment of milkshakes! my beloved Veggie Galaxy in Cambridge, MA, has a bunch of different frappes and they're SO good but it's basically impossible to eat all the apps I want, plus a main, plus CAKE, AND drink a frappe so I rarely get them :(
You should definitely come to Texas specifically Austin and San Antonio. Austin has a ton of vegan food spots and San Antonio is definitely has a blossoming vegan food scene
I totally feel you on the milkshake thing LOL especially with homemade ones. I tried to make one at home and the whole damn pint was gone for one tiny milkshake that wasn't even that thick
YES! I feel the exact same way about the ice cream/milkshake thing girl! Thought I was the only one LOL. Why drink your ice cream when you could eat it?
Been meaning to watch this video and as I’m on my way to my waxing appointment Which is across the street from this place. Next time I have my appointment there early I would like to try the tofu scramble.
When it's safe for you to go to other cities again I HIGHLY recommend you go to Dottie's Donuts in Philly! I go every time I visit my sister and it is legit heaven. Here's their insta (: @dottiesdonuts
The only all vegan restaurant in Southern Indiana is Flouish Plant-Based Eatery. Here is the link to their website. If you head this way I would definitely check it out. www.flourisheatery.com/
I wonder if you could reach out to other content creators who live in or near the cities you plan on visiting? Maybe they could meet up to show you their favorite place and offer other suggestions? Food Network has Non vegan places to eat, I’m not sure if they have come up with a list of vegan friendly places or not. Otherwise some cities have online magazines that showcase local non chain restaurants.
For LA, make sure to try vegan options at Craigs, Kitchen Mouse, Tatsu Ramen, M Cafe, and Pots and Woks!! I would skip Gracias Madre and Cafe Gratitude. Way too overhyped.
They don’t do vegan food here on LI like NYC. Sigh another place to try but my family keeps shaming me for wanting to go into the city just for food 😂 there’s honestly like no vegan places to eat out here.
Y'ALL!!! the singingggg was choice! Hahaha but for real tho RIP to the rips shake 😪 it was on my list for when I come over there obviously
I really thought I could get away with using only a few seconds of the actual song but UA-cam really got mad at that 😂😭
Milkshakes are how you trick your parents into letting you have ice cream with your main course as a kid
New place to check out: Le Petit Monstre on 82 Washington Ave near the navy yard. Few blocks from the old Rip’s.
Already done! Posting soon :)
But thanks for the tip!

Just seconding that Sweet Soulfood is an absolute must
Thanks for the tips!
@Clara Bruce you can’t go wrong with any of these! (But go to Sweet Soulfood)
Everytime you eat in your car the video should be called "food on my front seat" 😂😂 you are amazing!!

WHAT is this you’re blessing us with a video every other day, thank you ♥️
For most cities in the U.S., you can definitely reduce them down to 2-3 restaurant. I'm in Seattle, and 2-3 places will give you a good idea of the vegan scene. Hope you come through!
That strawberry donut looked so good. I also liked the look of the hot sauce chicken sandwich.
i’m 100% with you on the milkshake thing i definitely prefer to eat my ice cream lol, i only think they’re useful to dip fries in.
You should set up a google form or something so people can suggest restaurants in their cities! Might get overwhelming but it might help get you started!
Love comfort land !!! Just went today again..... traveled from Staten Island .. so worth it!
I feel the same way about milkshakes.
I think asking followers who live in the cities you are going to visit is a good option for knowing what the best vegan places are ! Plus it's so good for engagement with your audience!! I believe in you and what you're striving to do !!!
Wow, I truly thought Sarah McLaughlin did a song cameo in your video. Legends! lol
I’m dead. Stahp
you should partner w Happycow, especially if you travel to other cities. They'd be super helpful for you and it could be great promotion for them
I personally love milkshakes and the convenience of them although I get where you're coming from. On an unrelated note the people hopping in the background at 8:52 was so cute lol
I was definitely watching the ppl in the background! NYC/Queens such lively sidewalk culture!
@@sunflowerwellness316 Right, I love it! I can't wait to go to NY and experience it all myself.
That doughnut 😋.

110% with you on milk shakes as a waste. But I hate "drinking" anything, I want to eat my food ;)
You should ask us about restaurants you need to go to in different places so that you can find out what people who love there think 🙂
Imma need merch with "foodie girl problems" on it haha

Yes, I thought it was super overpowering too! Thats why I wish they had ranch. But im glad you liked the donuts!
I totally agree with your milkshake rant 100%

I thought I was the only one that didn't watch the men in uniform that interrupt my 15-minute main event concert.
That is a beautiful doughnut. I'm also a chocolate doughnut 🍩 person.
Okay I was doing okay with the sweet and savory.... but you’re pushin it with the milkshake 😭
Looks so good!! Thanks for sharing, friend. Let's stay connected.

another way i relate lol my truck's a pos too..this video was too awesome. just packed
Sonic makes mini milkshakes.
But I have also eaten milkshakes as a meal. Don't say what you won't eat until you've been preggers! 😂
Omg so funny you say that as all my mom wanted was chocolate milk shakes when she was pregnant with me.
WAY. BETTER(!!) than the original song lolol i’m deadass. those dogs will get my money if they re-record it with yours and roberto’s vocals 🤣🤣
Love me some Comfortland!
I live a few blocks from their. glad you came to visit
1:55 LOL! XD The food looks bomb, omg!!
Admire your for driving in NYC. As someone from FL, it looks scary. 😧
As always great content and an awesome job on showcasing an small vegan restaurant. I just love watching your channel.
Thanks so much!

Orlando has quite a few all vegan places and many vegan friendly restaurants. If you ever wind up heading to Orlando you will have a good time.
totally agree about the milkshakes, i think its a waste of calories, yes it taste good but i do prefer the experience of ice cream
As someone who struggles gaining weight, it’s a great way to get in some calories. Not the healthiest but def a fun splurge.
First off, the ASPCA sad music!!!! 🤣😭 I’ve been before but to the Queens Comfort location. I can’t remember what the heck I got.

You’re so cute!!! Looks good! You find all the gems
I totally feel you on the milkshake thing LOL especially with homemade ones. I tried to make one at home and the whole damn pint was gone for one tiny milkshake that wasn't even that thick
I'm still not over the *duh* moment that tortilla chips are just cut up tortillas. I definitely just ate probably four tortillas as a quick snack.
Girrrrrrl I love milkshakes... OMG RIPS was amazing!😫
YES! I feel the exact same way about the ice cream/milkshake thing girl! Thought I was the only one LOL. Why drink your ice cream when you could eat it?
Ditto to watching super bowl ads the next day on youtube and milkshakes are unnecessary.

We need to take our show to NY. Although Vancouver is pretty sweet for vegan stuff.
OMG I thought I was the only one who thought that about milkshakes😂💖
That looks so freakin good! I got frustration tears down my face cuz im so hungry 😆
Can’t wait for u & Berto to try the v food in Oakland ca!!!

Finally!!! someone else who thinks milkshakes are not worth drinking!!! Ice cream all the way ✊😆
I feel like when I travel to other cities I stay for 3-5 days so I have time to try like at least 5-10 different places.
you look so cute with your beanie ✨👌🏻
Thank you!
They sell very small strawberry milk shakes at next level burger and it’s the only milkshake that’s not absolutely absurd imo
I might try but I'm afraid of oat milk still. Oats really activate my stomach.

Haha will do
does your list of good vegan restaurants live anywhere?
Yep. On my YT Channel. I have "NYC vegan Restaurant" Guides
Did you get a new car? I am writing down the names of all of the restaurants to visit after all of this.
Nope, same car :)
They don’t do vegan food here on LI like NYC. Sigh another place to try but my family keeps shaming me for wanting to go into the city just for food 😂 there’s honestly like no vegan places to eat out here.
Its definitely not a shame to travel for good food!
Send me one of them donuts girl
Do reviews of vegan restaurants borough by borough
Yoooooooo! Sarah McLachlan ain’t got nothin’ on you. 😂
Milkshakes just take up valuable eating room.
Do you have a cat or cats? If so, can we get a video with your cat/s? 🥰
I dont have any pets unfortunately. I dont have the space/time/money yet!
Who was the guy?
Someone who worked there
No! I disagree. Vegan strawberry milkshakes are awesome!
Wow, you can talk.
I mean, yeah. That’s my job :)
💚
