This game was clearly ahead of its time
Resident Evil Outbreak is an Awesome Classic Resident Evil Game the gameplay, the characters, the story, the levels are amazing, the boss fights are pretty good, the survivor skills in this game is very impressive and the ending was so nice!
How about the chronological order of the RE games, like which happened first RE4 or this...?

Re outbreak is easily the most underrated games in that gen of gaming..
It has soo much detail, easter eggs and offers soo much discussion points in the series.. While offering great humour also.. with showing npc's that also survived raccoon city.. This really needs a remake and expansion.. Imagine a city map, clicking on a location and going toe to toe, with your friends in RE engine.. Instead of resistance nonsense.. we can but dream ^^;;;
It's also soo cool, the amount of description text as you go through.. soo many missables, dependant on someones playstyle :D
There were some good (maybe even great) ideas in this game. But the execution was flawed, at best. The load times in between screens was one of this game's Achilles' heels. Cheap hits from monsters (zombies, particularly) was another. And primitive communication mechanics in the multiplayer (which I never did much of, myself) was another. A pretty blase story; uninspiring dialogue scenes, mostly because each one had to cater to one of eight possible main characters, and not including all the side characters you could find and play as. And only being able to hold 4 items at one time (plus your "special" item you start with) was pretty damned annoying.
I myself spent plenty of hours playing through the scenarios in both Outbreak games, and got some enjoyment out of doing so. Yet at the same time, I probably wouldn't miss either one terribly much if I were to never play them again. The classic RE games (and even some of the later ones) are just more fun to play, honestly.
A remake, perhaps, could have some potential, now that gaming has evolved to address many of the problems that plagued this game for its time (load times and communication, particularly). I suspect that one of the real points of Resident Evil Resistance was to test the waters on such an idea; see how people would react to it, see how it would work in practice. If that is the case though, then Capcom would still seem to have a long way to go.

I remember playing this with my friend when the PS2 was new, and it was a lot of fun. It was so difficult though and here you are soloing it on very hard mode. Nice!
Your longplays are flawless in pure essence. All these games I had and I do have the discs of SOME but not the functional console. I miss these old survival games especially the RE ones and their limitations. That one zombie in the restroom was pretty persistant.

The only 2 things you missed are: Janitor's Daily Report file in the Hellfire scenario and "Used glasses on 2nd statue" event in Decisions, Decisions. But you have 7 more characters to do it =)

Unfortunately, the "Janitor's Daily Report" in Hellfire Scenario is not obtainable on "Very Hard Difficulty." It's obtainable on Easy, Normal and Hard Difficulty.
The "Brass Spectacles" in Decisions, Dedisions Scenario is located in "Control Room - Emission Tower Facility", inside the right locker on Very Hard Difficulty. It's only obtainable with Alyssa Ashcroft. You need to use Alyssa's S-Shaped Pick to unlock it.

Code veronica is a load of crap and available on PS4 but not this masterpiece. Sadly overshadowed by Resident Evil 4, not many people even know about this game. You rock at this game, thank you for your video it brings back memories.

No, killing the Zombies or other kind of minor enemies does not make you earn any points.
In Resident Evil Outbreak, Points can be earned by completing a scenario. The number of points awarded are based on a number of things such as completion events, clear time, survivors (Partner Mode), and SP items found.
You will get additional bonus points if you complete a scenario by not taking any damage or by not using any weapons.

Here is my strategy if you fight the Zombies with a Folding Knife, Butcher Knife or Survival Knife in Resident Evil Outbreak:
1) When a Zombie is about to attack you, stab the Zombie one time to see how it is swaying.
2) There are two swaying animations of a Zombie in which the Zombie is not able to attack you for a short time after taking a hit, a minor swaying and a major swaying.
3) If the Zombie is minorly swaying, stab it just one more time again until it gets its default standing position.
4) When the Zombie has its default standing position again, it will attack you afterwards, so stab the Zombie again when it is about to attack you. If it is majorly swaying, stab it 2 times this time until it gets its default standing position.
5) Do that over and over again and after a while, you will be able to kill the Zombie without taking any damage.
That's all.

When you face multiple enemies at once, make sure to stay calm and pay attention to their movements and attacks. Keep always a safe distance and also make sure to have enough space to escape in case when the fight gets too difficult.
When the Virus gauge reaches Red, make sure to complete the specific Scenario carefully as fast as possible without taking any damage. If the gauge reaches 100%, the game ends without completion.
Here are the Items that temporary prevent the infection:
-Herbs: Any type of herbs will stop the infection for 30 seconds.
-First Aid Spray: The First Aid Spray not only restores your health completely but it will stop the infection for 45 seconds as well.
-Antivirus: The base Antivirus pill, can stop the infection for 90 seconds.
-Antivirus Large: Outbreak only, it will stop the infection for 180 seconds.
