@@so_it It seams your problem more likely either the ink cartridge or the black ink line might be cross contaminated. If you using a ciss disconnect the line at the cartridge and using a syringe start pulling some ink from the ink tank until the color looks what it should..

There are two different heads made to work in this printer, if you can use the head with the gold looking bottom screen, more suitable for Eco solvent ink.
@@frankdoyal6450 what vinyl would you recommend for stickers, decals and things like that? I have a 1430 thats been converted. Works great on htv but can't seem to get the vinyl to hold the ink. Any suggestions on print settings?

You can only adjust colors by using a Rip software. Otherwise use Photo quality selection in Preferences in your printer file.

That's amazing. Looking into doing this to a epson 1400 too. Did you keep the same print head? And do you heat the ink in any way or the print media?
