I have just tried this and was successful following your steps until I tried to remove the front/top plastic. The back came off in one piece but the one that was on the top has stuck terribly to the resin. Any suggestions as to hope to get it to release? there resin was still moveable but cold when I tried to unmold it. I would like to give it another try, but don't want to waste the resin. I also made my wave about 2/3" thick. Thank you for sharing your skills with us.

I wonder if the ocean misses me as much as I miss the ocean... 💙💙💙
That’s a very neat idea! Well done! I watched one lady use shaper sheets, which I’d never heard of.
Arcydzielo ,,,super.

That cool would look great with a surfer under the wave too 🙂

What do you call the rocks that you used in this masterpiece?
Is that freezer paper you laid over the foil so it won't stick?
That is amazing!! I never left the table watching you. What was the product in the call gun you used for texture??
Thank you Patricia. 19:18 ? It's a clear silicone sealant.
Have you ever thought of making a gigantic wave to position at the head of your bed .... HEADBOARD! If this makes you rich, remember me! ChaChing. 🤗🤪😇
it would be nice if you would talk some and explain what you are doing thanks

There is a mold release spray you can purchase at craft stores or on line. Works like a charm.
You could also spray the plastic with hairspray.
Epoxy doesn't adhere to tinfoil?
that doesn't look right, because the lines in the wave (the wrinkles caused by the plastic foil) are horizontally and not vertically.
True, the good news is: there is always scope for improvement 🙃
@@EpoxyWood very true :) . And it is still a gorgeous piece of art!
@@MeanBlackKitty Thank you 🥳
@@EpoxyWood you're welcome. Greetings from Mallorca, Spain, where we have the most beautiful beach called "Es Trenc"... just google it ;)
