explanation for faq:
internal humidity refers to fluid retention, the chinese language doesnt really have a word for fluid retention so this is the closest thing.
the horn scraping (gua sha) is supposed to bring stagnant blood up, it also causes microtrauma which breaks up scar tissue.
Literally so many ignorant people on here, hopefully your explanation reaches them
thank you ❤
the red parts isn't humidity, that's bruising caused by briskly rubbing causing your blood vessels to explode. You can rub your back with almost anything else and would get the same results. There's no such thing as stagnant blood as blood if not circulated is deprived of oxygen. This is a big scam again by the Chinese, they scam other people all the time.
blood stasis isn't real

It's like when dentists push their whole force into your gums: "you're bleeding because you dont floss"
No but atleast that's true this is just wild
At least with the dentists, it’s true. Your gums are constantly growing. Regular flossing not only keeps plaque from building up between your teeth, but also keeps your gums in check. The reason you bleed when the dentist poked your gums is because you have too much gum.

When she says “internal humidity“ she’s talking about something that is known in English as fluid retention or edema. “Internal humidity“ is a literal translation of the Chinese term, this is an example of why literal translation isn’t always the best, especially for medical terms. And yes, fluid retention is a real thing even though everybody’s body is mostly made up of water, you can have too much fluid retention in certain parts of your body, even though Traditional Chinese Medicine is homeopathic, fluid retention is a real medical condition that has a scientific basis and massage therapy is backed by medical science to help with fluid retention because it helps the fluid move through the lymphatic system, this is known as “manual lymphatic drainage“ and is usually covered by health insurance because of its medical benefits
Also needed in many cases manual lymphatic drainage is good
I appreciate the explanation.
Yes, I worked as an HHA and currently a PCA and I put lotion on clients' feet and massage them at the end of the day to help circulate the fluid. I have begun to wear compression socks, too!
what's shown in the video is making the patient internally bleed, this is seen by the blood "staining" the skin when it comes up
