My mom had Psoriasis and I was very aware of how self-conscious she was. It was heartbreaking when kids would point and laugh. She tried to keep things covered up but that didn't always work. We lived in the San Francisco Bay area and best I can recall I NEVER saw another person with Psoriasis. This was back in the 50s and 60s. Today several ads are talking about specific prescription medications that promise total or almost total relief from Psoriasis. These ads must be true because everyone is dancing around in short sleeves waving their arms everywhere. BTW, no one was allergic to peanuts 🥜
