Han Solo fight with Greedo was my favourite scene as a kid. Still remember watching it with dad & my brother as a kid. Shot first ask questions later! 😂😂😂 Also the Kenobi scene is epic when he cuts his arm off! 😂 Can't wait to recreate these scenes in this Cantina!
I never understood why Lucas felt the need to change that scene - Han was a space pirate badass and it was a matter of self preservation him blasting Greedo ! Quick draw gunslinger 👍👍👍
The Han Solo, Greedo fight was my favorite scene too, funny how you remember things different, I could’ve swore when I was a kid Han shot first. Lol.

Me too...First day. I was a little worried what my wife would say, but I used a bunch of tactics to break it to her. I showed her all the sail barge sales on ebay and how much it is worth now. I told her I would sell one of them in a few years and quadruple what I spent. ( but I will probably never sell one of them )

Cheers! I backed the deluxe version on day one. I am not an “in-box” collector and plan on opening all the figures and displaying them. About a year and a half ago I began returning to collecting the 3 3/4 line. I was collecting black series, but the lack of world building and the overall improvements to the vintage collection have made the line much more attractive and I’m quite pleased with my decision. I also backed the Ghost and plan on building a custom display cabinet with lights that will fit in a corner of a room and be able to display everything. I also collect G.I.Joe Classified Series and have two of their HasLab’s (the 3 3/4 SkyStriker and 6in H.I.S.S tank) I am very pleased with both the quality and unboxing experience of those and am looking forward to a similar experience from the Star Wars Team.
Keep up the awesome content, and as always Great video! Your channel, and the overall TVC community, were instrumental in my decision to return to the greatest scale in toys! Thanks for all you do!
My dining table has become my “desk of figures,” and so at the one end of the table will display the deluxe cantina in all it’s glory. I couldn’t afford two, and may not open the figures once I get them. They’re just so valuable right from the get go, right from whence they’ll be delivered. I still have my Razor Crest figures on card and YUP the Grogu card has that godawful bend in it. Anyhow cheers to ALL who backed the cantina, and you were right that the news leaks of it may have ruined the excitement and anticipation of a new Star Wars TVC Haslab. I planned on just backing a deluxe and a base to keep the figures carded but my little girl started collecting this past year and wants the sisters too😂 So I may need to get another base. ordered my 1 deluxe a week ago and I knew this was gonna be backed - I’ve been with SW and the toys since 78 and this will be a great playset pickup -lots of love for the OT always - still the best and most original SW 👍
Well, Tim, thanks to you, Victoria’s Cantina, Ryan Doell, the guys at Sarlacc Digest and the guys on Out of the Basement (yeast, the -Black Series- guys) and blue harvest collector on IG, I’m in! And just as you and many others: A Deluxe and a Base Offering! Bye bye for now €1000, but I’m excited about getting this thing. Hopefully It won’t be delayed as the G.I. Joe Dragonfly has recently been, but we’ll see.
Yes, I wanted modular floor panels, removable external façades and removable ceiling parts as well, you know, the whole building, but the “insides” are stunning as they are and, just as you all have said: This items don’t get cheaper afterwards, but double or more the price… Lots of thinking went on this, but just pulled the trigger yesterday.
I’m already sourcing the aliens I don’t have and all of that. Hunting is always fun.

I'm backing the deluxe version. Going to sell the extra piece to a friend who just wants the add-on, and selling the carded figures. I just want the Cantina itself for a Mando setting since we see the Cantina in the Mandalorian (droids allowed - LOL!).

I ordered one deluxe. I'm an opener and will set the Tonnikas freeeee :D They have been on the top of my wanted list since forever. I have been collecting since 2002 I think, and bought everything since the POTF.( The exception is when they went back to 5 points forTFA/RO/S/TLJ. I only bought the VC figures and son of the main 5 point characters) So I have all the action figures that has been released from the cantina. Now they live in the cardboard cantina. I will be displaying it open on one side and place the last three alcoves at the end. I have the old cantina in a glass cabinet. I have to see if this will fit when I get it.
Just Ordered a second one(one of each version now). I won’t find it any cheaper on the secondary market!
I’m backing one deluxe. Display will most likely be a shelf cross section with the extra pieces stored or on other shelves. A coffee table display is also a possibility which is why I went with the deluxe. Will be agonizing over whether or not to open the sisters. I do like keeping some figures on card. Anyway this is really exciting!

Black series collector. Backed 3 deluxe of these. Will keep one as wanted this since being a kid and having all the original figures. Bought Zutton already and will buy any vintage figures they release for this set going forward.
I bought one deluxe set. I'm not a carded collector, so I will be opening Wuher and the sisters. I will hold off on opening any tier figures to see if they get general releases on alternate cardbacks. If so, then I will buy the general releases to open and will sell the carded tier figures to offset the cost of the cantina. (I did the same thing with Yak Face, which reduced the cost of my barge from $500 to $300.)
I know what you mean by selling on a second market. I bought the Haslab Razor Crest for 800€ one year ago. It's insaine.
Plan to display the entire cantina with all of the alcoves facing one direction. My priority is the Nodes, Greedo / Han, Obi disagreement. Need to figure out the outside piece. Dont want to open the figures. Content with my current barman, maybe not, arggg......

I backed 2 deluxe, 1 for myself and another for a family member. I also backed a base set for the extra set of figures. I may back 2 more base sets cause I believe the figures will be very rare depending on the final number. Also if it helps get to a tier in the last few hours. It will be worth it. Any extra sets I can sell for a reasonable amount to offset some costs. There will be a secondary market down the road I believe.
I backed a deluxe & a standard for the same reason as Tim. I could possibly sell the standard set minus the figures which I will open
Hey BB, I haven’t backed it yet but I am highly considering it, I asked Mike his opinion.if you don’t know I am a carded collector however if you have seen my room tour I do display a few things as well…Millennium Falcon,x wing,tie fighter plus other ships…vintage deathstar and the barge….i want to back it for the carded figures even though I don’t have any of the carded figures from the other haslabs. I focus on the numbered vintage collection if you know what I mean….ughhhh just haven’t decided yet
So, now that we're down to the last 24 hours of this campaign and, if none of the teirs get unlocked, the 3 figures included will become like YakFace from the barge because of how few of them there are. Hopefully hasbro will go ahead and do the teirs in a four pack with hammerhead, if we don't get any of them.

I keep thinking 2 things: 1 should the time to back have been made longer (if I remember everyone saying this Haslab has a much shorter window than normal). 2 I also wonder if each offering was £50 cheaper would they actually have way more backers and therefore sell more / make more profit?!
So happy it got funded. Time to clear out the shelves! It would be nice if they threw the community a bone and included loose figures too.
I backed the Cantina the first weekend after it went live. So, so happy it crossed the 8,000 threshhold. I ordered just one set and I will be opening the set and the figures.

I backed a deluxe model,and am thinking about getting a base, I want to open one of the Wuher, figures, save one on card and sell the sisters(who have never been a priority on my wish list) and sell one of the cantinas and hopefully that will recoup on my investment
@@stephentaylor7555 I’m taking the same path. In for 2 - deluxe I keep. Sell one set of carded figures and then part of the price extra Basic set & decide as I find I wanna keep any of it. EXCITED!!! Gonna be so rad!!
I backed 2 Deluxe, one to keep MOC, one to open and display. I also backed a base unit for a second set of figures to keep carded, and I will sell it for whatever it brings on ebay. I think there are a lot of Kenner purists out there who will want a cantina, just to put their original figures in including blue snaggletooth. Hoping we get him in TVC now that this is a reality. For my deluxe, long term I plan to display it in it's entirety when I find a display case that will actually fit it. Depending on how the view is, I may alter that but I want to try. For now, I love that it is modular as I can fit some of it in one of my existing display cases I got from IKEA. I was already planning to get a second display case just like the one I already have, for my upstairs because I have many more scenes to set up, some OT & some Mando. My entire house is my display wherever I can fit them. I want that Wolf man!
Also bear in mind at least one set of the carded figures are going to be opened by a lot of people who bought two (me included), so the actual amount of actual carded figures out there will be much smaller than the total number of cantinas sold.

I Backed the deluxe but keeping the sisters and Wuher carded. I have a Wuher from the POTF line and i 3d printed the sisters so they can be shown on display while the orginals keep their value. Thanks for the wonderful video's each week, greetings from Belgium. Gert

I'm actually doing exactly what you mentioned about getting sets for just the figures. I'm getting 5 total, 2 I'll keep in their entirety and 3 sets I will sell. However many figures we get I will keep 4 of the 5. I will sell off the sets and keep the figures. I will be selling them at a cheaper price since they will not have figures. One set of figures I will sell on the secondary market at whatever price they jump too. Hopefully, when it's all said and done I should be able to get 2 for 1 which is awesome.
its a fact that many people are carded only collectors so its natural they will sell the set on. without the figures. Happens with LEGO all the time with the minifigures.
I'm pretty excited that this is funded. I'm also a bit scared. I've never done a haslab before. I live in Canada so it's probably gonna cost close to 1k with shipping and duties.😢

It's too Big and Expensive for me, but I'm happy for those who are getting it.
You mentioned the People who only want a section or two of this Cantina because of the reasons mentioned above.
I am one of those Individuals. I think I would like a Booth or Two, and possibly the Bar later on. The Great thing about the Deluxe Edition is that the extra Booths come in a plain brown box.
So those Items would be easy to sell, without opening the main Display Box.

I only bought 1 deluxe, wish I could buy a couple more, just bad timing.
What I really want is for them to re-release the barge. The first one was barely available to ROW'ers. Maybe for the 10th anniversary of Haslab? In the meantime I'll be picking up the Lego UCS barge later this year. It'll display nicely with my Lego Cantina 😅

In addition to the alcoves and bar, there’s that missing Modal Nodes instrument that will only be in this set.

@@johningham71 yes. If you look at that old time-y map of everything that comes with it. It’s the thing in the center of the picture to the left of the bar. Kind of looks like a giant toilet plunger.

Eagle Force Goregills; Eagle Force Kiloworg. Other lines have figures that will work too. It's gonna look great

Tim, people keep ragging in a lot of videos I've seen about the number of cups. The Haslab team was proud that they did all the research as those are THE number of cups as were depicted in the film in that Cantina, so I think that running "joke" is starting to wear thin. That said, cups can be sold and parted out as well, LOL!
Can never have too many cups. Can always give them out to the Jabba's Palace set and the Navarro Cantina

Huge win for TVC!! I backed the standard, I decided that without outside deco there wasn’t a lot of point to the deluxe anyway
This is a dream project for me. My favorite scene plus my two most wanted figures for the past 30 years (opening up my #1 slot for March Madness). I do hope it unlocks all three tiers, though since it took 26 days to reach 8000, hoping for an additional 9000 seems like an unbelievable expectation.
I only bought one deluxe set. I thought about buying a second and using the extra alcoves to fill out some of the space behind the bar since the booth shots filmed in Los Angeles created setups that exceeded the actual six alcoves of the set. I also hoped to use extra alcoves with the Jabba’s Palace playset. Unfortunately, other necessities have arisen where ordering a second cantina isn’t really feasible.
Q4NW (which may be moot). Do you think Hasbro may have planned further figures, such as a four pack, to support this HasLab that they may have pipelined, but have now had second thoughts on given that the Cantina did not prove to be the runaway hit that everyone thought it would be? I, for one, thought it would have been backed the first weekend and am surprised at how long it took to get there.
I'm really pleased that it's finally reached 8000, hoping it'll make all 3 of the tiers. Undecided if I'll open the Tonnika sisters and Wuher, and that's coming from an opener (of cards). Certainly for now I'll keep them carded, with fingers crossed Hasbro do decide to release them in the future as a standard version 🤞
Personally, I am not backing the bar, but I hope to get the Nabrun Leids on the secondary market not to long after it comes out as the figures are the main draw for me, great vid BB

Great its been backed, and great to watch a positive video about the Haslab Cantina... waited decades for a good cantina, since i started collecting Palitoy figures in 1978, and I'm in for a Deluxe.. getting a standard set as well is tempting for 2 sets of figures.. anyway thanks for another great positive video.. unlike that Retroblasting jerk 😂
Really wish I could’ve funded 2, but the funds just aren’t there for an extra one. I believe these things are going to sky rocket in value.
If you only want the base set, order the deluxe then sell the extra box to people who realized they should have backed the deluxe.

i don't like that that the wolfman is 9 thousand units away , that is more than twice what they are asking for to back it, there aren't 9 thousand more star wars toy collectors that can afford this
Very true, technically it hasent even got 8 thousand backers yet if you consider hundreds of people have bought it twice.
Other HasLabs have got to a 17,000 tier despite having less backers at this same point in time. You will see! Exponential increase now through the end. Wolfman is not out of reach!!!! 🙏
With the price of some of the cantina aliens on the secondary market I may opt to display the cantina as seen in the mandalorian for a bit since it’s basically empty besides Mando, ev-9d9 and R5-D4 😂
The Cantina is unfortunately out of my price range.
My fingers are however crossed for all the backers that all the tiers are met! The Cantina looks fantastic and quite understandably a dream item for many collectors.
I am glad it has funded. I hope it is able to make it to the last goal but will be happy if it gets the 14000. Now they will have to redo Ponda Baba with a removeable arm maybe with a little red paint. I am asking for too much for that I guess. I got multiple sets one to open some to sell. I don't have an idea yet how I will display it.
I currently have this backed but I am in box collector, does anyone know if I’ll need to open the cantina box to get to the figures? Ideally I’d want the cantina box sealed
Good question, we dont know right now. The Skystriker had the 7 figures outside of the actual box. I guess if we get all 6 figures that could be the case again
For a while there I didn't think it would fund..glad it did...the only version I could get was the DX version ($1000 AU)..since I have some wonderful custom Tonnika Sisters I might sell the figures and a couple of the booths..very much a dream item..cheers Tim🍺🍺🍻 SI FI

Yeah, you might as well pony up now as this is the cheapest those 3 figures will be, & then you have Cantina parts to sell off or use as you like. Ronnie’s Sisters will likely be around $200 each I estimate, no matter how high the final production number gets. Wuher will be up there, too. Of Greedo gets unlocked, the carded collectors will pay pretty penny for that card variation up until a regular release.
JUST BACK IT! We might then get 6 total figures, and more patrons will be made in the future to fill the scene 😊

Backed and very stoked for this set. I am opening it and displaying it. I have space for the back half of the cantina and will dsiplay the front two alcoves, entrance and front on another shelf. I have all the Cantina aliens but 1 (Hrchek Kal Fas).

Zero - they need to make enough money from 17,000 units to but the final figure into production.
I don’t collect TVC and seriously scaled back my Black Series purchases. My friend backed regular version because he’s a carded collector and plans to sell off the entire cantina set.
Lets hope tons of people see it got its 8k goal and then spike for all the tiers, I know not likely, but we can always hope.
I think people predicted we would hit 14k, but the 17k would be amazing!
It is still possible. Graphs show some other HasLabs that got as high and they weren’t as far along as this one is!!! It will be spiking now through the end of the campaign.
