Finn and his Filipina girlfriend Sherlyn are both into deep diving. Sherlyn was actually a winner of Miss Scuba International 2017. I happened to have followed their journey from the first meeting, to the breakup, to the back in each other's arms. And now, Finn built a house for them and their future family. Kyle "Kulas" on the other hand is engaged to a Filipina, Therine, a more private person than other girlfriends of vloggers I know.

❤Kulas Kyle is a very friendly welcoming person.No wonder everyone loves him A person with a generous heart. He helped a lots during typhoons and earthquake to the victims w/ foods and building materials. He traveled to many areas that no vloggers did before like in Zambuanga, Sulo julo, Basilan, ,tawi tawi and lately Balabac area in South western philippines that is predominantly muslims almost closer to Malaysia,Indonesia and Borneo .They welcome him and happy to have him and visit with them. I passed Kulas house so near the ocean in Cateel Davao Oriental last year when I went for my holiday we went for a loop driving the whole province of Davao region.Every body knows him there lots of foreigners visited him too. That's Kyle Jennerman a Canadian converted to Filipino Citizen. Locals named him Kulas he's been to all the provinces in the entire country on motorbike. He now resides in Cateel Davao with beach house and lot using solar panels .
BecomingFilipino is his title .
Best yet if you wanna see the whole Philippines with Kulas Finn Mike Brett Daniel and few other boys they call themselves The Fighter Boys named after a medicinal drink..they traveled on motorbike and a small jeepney and traveled all throughout the whole country just exploring everywhere in the Philippines.

Kulas, isn't used in the Philippines like it was in the 1940s to address a group, like how it's used in America pertaining to workers. Kulas is a word used in the Philippines, just a mere nickname of a guy.

Hi. I love this place. Fun fact - you have to be from the area(Batanes) to be able to own a property in Batanes. The island is closer to Taiwan than the northern tip of the main island(Luzon). The flights are limited due to inclement weather.

This the part of the Philippines that is farthest from the equator. That makes it one of the 'colder' parts of the country. The only "negative" thing about this place is this is also one of the regions most visited by typhoons yearly. If it were not for the typhoons, I'd be living there right now.

Kulas is not his real name I think. He adopted that name when he lived here in PH. Or maybe someone gave the name to him and it stuck. He traveled the Philippines with his motorbike. I think his last stop was in Batanes. He's a Filipino citizen now. We were so proud when he was granted citizenship.

Many things in Batanes are "different". Such as the "trikes" they are riding in. Those are NOT normal trikes that you see everywhere. The wood roof you would never see around where we live. If you are here long enough, you WILL get a nickname. Either very quickly, or in time. We ALL have nicknames, or titles. Everyone calls me either "Kuya" or "Tio". Kuya means uncle, and Tio means older uncle. I like Kuya better, as Tio makes me sound very old! My closer friends call me "duwende", which comes from my first name and middle initial (Dwane D). Duwende means "big dwarf"! It makes them all laugh.
