That whole place just drips with the civil war area. My gosh that tree is huge! Probably been around since the civil war...lol. A lot of neat stones too. The buried ones are from who knows when. Cool place. Thank you Matt @ 539 Productions
I wish I had found your channel sooner. I feel like I’m late to the party. I’ve been fascinated with cemeteries since I was a child. My father was too. We were from Indiana too, so I feel a connection with you Matt. I think you have an “old soul” in that you are very young but you have rare qualities for someone your age. You are incredibly smart number one, but also your passion for history and your respect for history is apparent. The thing I really enjoy the most about you is you seem to have such an amazing concern for people and keeping their memories alive. Young men like you give me hope for our future on this planet. I hope you use your talents and passions well. Okay...mom lecture over. 😊
Bugs and spiders have been a pain in the butt this year. Another great cemetery video, Matt. It always makes me the saddest to see the little children's graves and it seemed like this place had quite a bit of them. Thanks for sharing and stay safe.
In the South during the Victorian era, families would often pack a lunch and spend the the afternoon with their departed loved ones. The cemetery was also a place to take a stroll with your intended. How times have changed. I am amazed at the cemeteries you find. Thanks for keeping a living record of what may soon be forgotten.
I always find it very sad and equally fascinating to see these long lost cemeteries being discovered and the only record of these past lives being a head stone
Couldn’t get over how neat and clean this graveyard is. When you were walking the fence line I didn’t even notice any trash left by anyone. Looking forward to this new road you’ll be taking and the places you will be filming. Take care and be careful.
What a pretty little cemetery. For being off the road like that very surprised at how well it is looked after. The stones were beautiful . Keep Safe ❤Keep Well ❤
I wonder why this cemetery has no sign put up on the side of the road so people can find it? I know it's a very old one but still, you would think it would be marked. Old people coming to visit their loved ones would not be able to walk that far back into the woods to their family graves. I give praise to the person who is taking such loving care of the property. It looks perfectly weed wacked and mowed. That's hard to believe for a cemetery that's hidden in the woods. I would never dream that it existed. And you wouldn't catch me dead going back there, it's peaceful, but too isolated and creepy for me. But thank you so much for the beautiful video, I enjoyed it very much... C
I live through your videos! I love looking thru old cemeteries but if I come within 5 feet of poison ivy I would be covered head to toe in it. Thanks for letting me virtually do what I love best!
You find the most intriguing and mysterious cemeteries. This one was brilliant. I gotta tell you, those headstones that have the hand with the finger pointing up, creeps me out about as much as those huge, ugly spiders. Some places are just give off a different vibe. Excellent, Matt.
Before seeing some of these vids, I always thought of Indiana as a rust belt, scrub-brush, flat, Prarie like, featureless state....but there are some beautiful woodlands to behold. May not be a large as the old growth forests here back east, but nice, nonetheless.
I love walking through cemeteries. Im glad I found your channel. Was up all night going through lots of your stuff. Thank you. (We come across many coyotes here gotta watch it.)
This was a very interesting graveyard find. Plenty of symbols on the gravestones. I don’t think I have ever seen a gravestone with the Holy Bible etched on it.
So love your videos keep them coming I believe some people are good at doin these type of videos urban exploring and others are not but you are a natural 😊
I am a fellow taphophile, although I was probably in my thirties when you were born. I love visiting old cemeteries. When I retire I will probably start a channel dedicated to this.
Thanks Matt for a another interesting video about the Hidden Graveyard in the Forest | Buried Headstones and Bee Hives I really enjoyed this video and thanks Matt for sharing with me and God Bless you my friend and thanks again.
Very cool for sure! I love old cemeteries they have such beautiful stones and usually they have very large trees that are so beautiful....( yes a tree hugger sorta) lmao those stones you were looking at in the wooded area seemed suspicious to me...many of them were flat and looked like old tomb. Stones...humm not sure though...anyway have an awesome day....peace Be safe on this awesome sounding trip I am jealous l.ao...wish I was coming...lol but for real be safe...we luv ya💗💙✌
It remindsme of the creepy tombstones n graves that were in the original 1972 Last house on the left ...where the second girl almost escapes but falls down n gets stabbed by the 3 deranged killers..
I love these adventures watch out for ticks some if those stones were so detail I think the protection from the trees kept them more preserve Id be lost in a minute through their, great video.
Another very interesting hidden cemetery! The ground cover is Perrywinkle. At the right time of the year, it has beautiful small blue flowers among the leaves. I love it so much, I have it around a lot of my bushes in my yard. Be careful out there! Maybe carry a can of mosquito spray??!!
WELCOME BACK! We missed you!! That was awesome! Not the spider, so much, though. This time of year is bad when it comes to bugs! Next time put a fabric softener sheet in your pocket. It's supposed to keep the away.
Another great video Matt. Just a request please - I love to read the names and dates on the tombstones. I think your interest is more with the architectural styles of the markers. Usually I slow down the playback of your videos and just stop it whenever you come to a readable marker. This time though you flew by them so fast and when you did show them, you seemed to concentrate on the carvings at the top of the stones and never showed the names. Could you just do folks like me a favor and just let the camera go past the names and dates? You don't have to linger on them - we can do that when we watch them. This video started with a marker for an 11 day old child who never even got a name. I lingered by there and said a little prayer for her/him. I would at least like to read them if I could! Thanks! EDIT TO ADD: My apologies - I lost my internet connection while playing this back and only realized later that I missed a large chunk of the video. I see more stone engravings now on the bits I'd missed before.
Mamie Bobb I noticed that one too...how precious are these little ones who are safe at home in the arms of Jesus. I am our family historian and have several family trees on Ancestry. I always add a little message and a picture of an angel beside the cradle of a sleeping child to these little ones I find in my family trees...and yes, often shed a tear too.
Hi Matt, for an out of the way little graveyard I was quite impressed at how well looked after it was. The fence left a lot to be desired but the gravestones themselves were well looked after it seems. Can't wait to see where you are going on your trip. Will you be collaborating with anyone whilst you are on the road ????. Thanks Matt for another awesome video and for all your hard work. By the way, I like how your hair turned out ;). Safe travels. xx
So you never talk about ticks or chiggers from walking through the bush,s, use to live in northern Arkansas in the early 70,s and thinking about moveing back,it's just so much cheaper, bit the bigs, snakes, humidity, and storms are making me really think if it's worth it moveing out of Idaho
Are you trying to keep these cemeteries secret? Is that why you don't tell where they are? It's quite frustrating. You could at least give the name of the town they are in or near.
You don't show most of the names very good at all. I mean if your right in front of the stone don't show the names at an angle so we can't read them. That's the whole point. Not just to see the shape of the stone.
So amazing these small off the beaten path Cemeteries you find, so fascinating.
That whole place just drips with the civil war area. My gosh that tree is huge! Probably been around since the civil war...lol. A lot of neat stones too. The buried ones are from who knows when. Cool place. Thank you Matt @ 539 Productions
Another great discovery...thank you. Did you notice at 7:17 the two headstones side by side were the two wives of Willis Jeffrey?

Bugs and spiders have been a pain in the butt this year. Another great cemetery video, Matt. It always makes me the saddest to see the little children's graves and it seemed like this place had quite a bit of them. Thanks for sharing and stay safe.

It seems like a peaceful place I hope it stays that way
You should come to Florida we have so many forgotten grave yards that date back to the early 1800s great video
I always find it very sad and equally fascinating to see these long lost cemeteries being discovered and the only record of these past lives being a head stone

Very awesome place seems to be at peace Awesome old stones Glad Your investigating again
Very peaceful site. Obviously someone is taking good care of it. Its a shame the trees in the opening seem to be suffering from some sort of blight.
What a pretty little cemetery. For being off the road like that very surprised at how well it is looked after. The stones were beautiful . Keep Safe ❤Keep Well ❤
loved it keep up great work

Laura Odle The headstones with the finger pointing up is an indication that that soul is now in Heaven and a reminder to those who grieve to look up.
Love the hair!!
Great video
My great grandfather made civil war headstones . I love this stuff ! Please let us read the names ? Many thanks !
yep, gotta love those Indiana mosquitoes 😉
Before seeing some of these vids, I always thought of Indiana as a rust belt, scrub-brush, flat, Prarie like, featureless state....but there are some beautiful woodlands to behold. May not be a large as the old growth forests here back east, but nice, nonetheless.

Night vision will allow you to read at night. Choice is up to you. Rent or borrow first.
I am just wondering what the signs said at minute 3:53. You didn't show them.

Hi Matt. Great video as always. Have a safe trip & see you soon! 👋👍✌😀
For being in such an isolated place that cemetery seems very well maintained.
Very cool for sure! very nice cemetery video the area real kooooooooooooooool and quiet
Two things I don't like and hate is Ghosts and Bees Nest 😭
I love these adventures watch out for ticks some if those stones were so detail I think the protection from the trees kept them more preserve Id be lost in a minute through their, great video.
People used lye and lime on the stones.

I do not think that was the tree of life, It looks more like the Weeping willow. Sorry if that was mentioned already.

How can you not feel that mosquito on your cheek.
Oh so who gives a damn about the fence line? Show some headstones so we can read some names and dates!
Are you trying to keep these cemeteries secret? Is that why you don't tell where they are? It's quite frustrating. You could at least give the name of the town they are in or near.
Hi matt i liked your video if you add me on facebook id be happy to share more of your video's. I have the same pic on facebook.
You don't show most of the names very good at all. I mean if your right in front of the stone don't show the names at an angle so we can't read them. That's the whole point. Not just to see the shape of the stone.
