Sukuna vs Jogo overshadowed it but Toji's "I'm glad" scene is one of the best scenes in the show for me. I was initially not okay with temporarily bringing him back but that was such a brilliant way to finally end him. Those 2 lines he spoke conveyed so much and Megumi didn't even know what happened. That scene is the definition of perfection in my eyes.
True. This is the only moment in Shibuya that made me cry.
I mean I didn't even twitch on nanami and nobara getting merked.
But this scene right here had so much depth and meaning to it that toji became my fav character instantly.
I already liked him before for humiliating gojo's and geto's ass tho.

Majority of reactors only care about the fights and scenes that are easy to understand without context. A lot of them sadly dont pay attention to the actual story much.

He did do it on purpose. He is conscious of who he was and is even if the granny's ct forces him to always attack the strongest. He literally kills himself so that Megumi wont be harmed by him and is even happy to hear Megumk kept his mother's maiden name.

Toji over taking another beings body was a wild flex. they assumed the bit of this powerful being flesh consuming it would just amp up the original guys powers and abilities. Toji was like nah son. I need to find my kid. Than he found him and once he realized that he choose a different path. finally satisfied he killed himself.
