They did it so well... even though I know she won't die, -- since the show is literally focused around curing her -- I still shed tears every time... 😅
its because even when you know its the purity of her act that still gets you I still can't stop crying when she kicks Tanjiro away its the fact she's telling him herself don't worry about me save those people that hits hard she truly does her Kamado name proud with how truly kind hearted that family is
I like to think the way they did the scene was to parallel with S1e19, when Tanjiro uses the hinokami kagura for the first time. Both of them were on the edge of death and had their lives flash before their eyes. Shinobu put out the theory that that’s them trying to find something to save them. In Tanjiro’s case, he dug up memories of his father, while in Nezuko’s case she dug up memories of Tanjiro.
And of course, in both scenes, their eponymous theme songs are playing at full blast

4:37 the moment everyone goes silent and then starts collective weeping for 2 and 1/2 minutes straight
Damn, a lot of tears have been shed in this episode. From the characters and the reactors as well (And from me)

It has been almost a month, but I still find myself crying.
I watched Swordsmith Village arc a while ago, like, a year ago, but this scene made me go CRAZY. I thought Nezuko became a human lol
