After having literally everyone in the universe request that I make a Deltarune cover via social media I went into this with no idea of what I wanted to do with it, so I just started laying down instruments and synths that sounded neat to me. About halfway through arranging, I realized that It was taking the shape of something resembling a synthwavey/metal fusion type thing. I borrowed plenty of influence from more popular synth artists like The Midnight and Perturbator, along with my more standard sprinklings of Polyphia and Intervals inspired guitar noodling. I went as far as taking an hour or two to research the best method of emulating mid-80s era Simmons drum samples to get an authentic, super corny-sounding Phil Collins vibe on some of the tom transitions. I'm pretty happy with this cover, and hope you are too! I'm not sure where I stand with doing more covers from this game, but I do like the music and have basically had the entire OST requested to me at this point. As for more Deltarune covers, the soundtrack is fairly short at the time being given that the game is a "demo", so to speak, so you have little to choose from. If you read Toby's twitter about it, he's said it took 3 years to make this "demo" by himself, and he doesn't plan on making more solo. He's going to hire a team, and it may take a long-ass time to both do that and continue production. He's set a 7 year time limit on finishing the game, so it may be a long time since he also said there won't be more installments, the full game will be released only when it's done. @@sharmellpsaila6540
