My 15 pro max battery is acting very strange. I’ll put it on charge and sometimes it doesn’t go past 92% 93 94 etc. then when I restart the battery percentage will show 100. I’ve factory reset and everything but nothing has worked
Calibrate the battery brother everyone got the same problem, but there is a big difference between one who notices like us and the one who doesn't even look their battery percentage after charging.. i will recommend you to calibrate your batter, talking about mine I'm also facing the same issues but after calibrating its fixed now, but i now later on my battery will again act the same so I'm just waiting for the ios 17.5 update..
Merci
my phone stars to lag when hits 50% then it shutdown. and when it restarts i got 1% and had to charge. if i charge it-the battery goes fast in few mins to 50% and then slowly to 100%. Theres a problem with recalibration of my battery after i used type c fast charging with 100w.
My iphone 6s plus is at 72% percent. It’s rocking the original battery from 2015. But now when i unplug it when it’s fully charged, it goes down to 1 percent in half an hour and works at 1% for another half an hour. Does it need calibration? The percentage is very inaccurate. I use ios 15 btw. The last version available for the phone.
Maybe your iphone is overheating. So, to save the screen and other damages it lowers brightness for low power consumption because of which heating will also reduce.
When the optimise charging is enabled, your iPhone will delay charging past 80% in certain situations. Hence, you turn it off so that you can charge it to 100% quickly and wait for another 2 hour 😂
Do not do this guys it will degrade your battery faster over time these are lithium batteries just only charge past 80 when u need it and don’t let it go below 20 regularly and use it the way u want to life is to short to worry about a 50 dollar replacement
iPhone batteries do not need any calibration😂... Neither do all new batteries on new devices since a few years back 😂... I'm totally shocked you are into this ...
nah not doing this iphone is too expensive here in India and replacement battery is too expensive too and gladly since January I am having 100% battery health so skipping this
I used to do this, but heard somewhere Apple’s latest software and battery tech has gotten so good at self calibration that power cycling actually does more harm than good now. 🤷♂️
You know the push to reset buttons? They are hardware based so it overrides the software. A push to reset vetoes any software reset if that fails. Kinda similar here sometimes it’s better to manually do it than trust some software that Apple has made and probably by the same team that slowed down a load of iPhones to increase sales for the next year.
My iPhone 11 is still at 96%. I upgraded to 13 and 13pro, but preferred the 11. 13 feels to bulky- maybe it’s cause 11 has rounded edges and 13 dosen’t. So that’s a 2019 phone still at 95%???! Wow- longer than any relationship I’ve ever had……….
So I was calibrating my battery and then I was at the stage where I powered it off for like 8hrs and then plugged in a charger and turned it off,but then I mistakenly unplugged and the phone came back on ,should I off it again and continue calibrating
@@iDeviceHelpdisagree, that means that 1 a month, you’re going to be doing the most harmful thing you can do to a battery? Once every now and then maybe but once a month is way too o excessive IMO.
Mine is funny, when its finish charging at 90% normally i would restart my phone, when my phone is on, the battery indicator will add 5% more so it will be like 95% in the display 😂
You calibrate the iPhone battery by calibrating the iPhone battery.
I actually so disagree with this method.
Used to do it with my 12 promax and my iPhone battery degraded faster doing this.
Love your vids
Will this be available for iPads as well ?

I’m also facing same problem on my 15 pro max.Does this solve by battery calibration?
Can I charge the phone before it hits zero and drain it again ?
Can I turn the optimize charging once I’m done ?
Yes, turning it of just helps charge faster for the moment of calibration
Funny I just now saw your message before posted mineabout this topic! LOL!!
Yes You can turn it back on if you’d like
How to get the iPhone/Mac Bettery Cycle
Calculation: (Your Battery Cycle Count x 20) / 500 = How much capacity you lost
Mine says 7.48 what does that mean?
How do you know your battery cycle count?
@@iveldanieri4696 There are lot of videos on here that shows you how. Type “how can I find battery cycle count on iPhone”
@@mabedali_313 mine says 187×20/500=7.48, how much is 7.48 in capacity lost?
so what is the app?
Just check the number of cycles the phone has gone through, that’s way more important than the battery max capacity.
Does it matter if charge with MagSafe when doing this or do I need to plug in my lighting cable?
yes, youll need to plug in your cable. magsafe/wirless charge isnt precise enough to measure it for the BMS

You need a battery replacement. Calibration may help the percentage be more accurate but it’s not going to last longer.
@@Jorda5s i wanted accurate percentage which didn't happen. yes I can do a replacement but the battery will cost more than the phone itself.
