Back in the mid 90s I used to work at Boots there. You could walk down the stairs and it was an entrance to the then stockroom in Boots, and then the opticians. There was a further level below which was used for storage of shelves and fittings.
Enjoyed this short video and for a short time I wondered what was in the service level . I was also wondering if you will ever make a vid in the centre north east corporation building. I find all this very fascinating 👍
The service level is huge. It's mainly for vehicles to make deliveries so the majority of the stores use their first floors for stock. However, some units (new look for example) use that space for retail (hence they have no windows).
Hi Ben, I've been in there myself many years ago and you're right, it's very interesting. I'll only do videos on places I can enter and explore legally though so I would need to contact the organisation that owns/manages it and request access.
@@middlesbroughmike1027 yeah best to do it legally, would be worth an ask although unlikely, as far as i know there isnt a single video on the place since it was abandoned in 2009

Remember Geordie Jeans on the corner feller. Gud times👍
Would you ever consider doing a video on the centre north east? I have been in there myself and its a very interesting abandoned place

Great video, any chance of one on the staircase that goes down beside Boots? I think there was a bar or club song there at some point?
I've done (a short) video on the downstairs space (which was a pub yes) which I'll be sharing soon.
Sound is always too quiet on the Intro of the narration!
