Juniper Springs | Camping & Hiking | Runaway Tiny Camper

- Juniper Springs is in the Ocala National Forest. The campground does not have electricity or water at the sites but it does have a nice bathhouse and dish washing area. We used our Jackery 240 power station and Jackery solar panel set up for the first time to power the exterior lights and interior lights inside the Runaway camper. It worked great! Because we brought our dog, Skylar, we were limited on where we could go within the park but we did go on a nice hike on the Florida Trail.
We also met fellow UA-camrs from Honey I Roam. It was great to finally run into them! / honeyiroam

When you plugged your own cord into your own cord … 🤯 nice! Hi from a fellow Cool Camp owner.
Nice runaway family 😊
The pooch is precious. The Runaway is awesome, but you really have to get a French Press. Coffee should not be that complicated. 😂😂
Lol, we agree!!
Nice video and I love the dog snuggles. I am putting that camp on my list, thanks!
Camping is not Camping unless you have a great sense of humor and knowledge to know how to laugh 😆
Thanks for sharing your video . I think 🤔 it was awesome 👌
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice park, Florida is a paradise !
Thanks for taking us to the Springs!
Another great video, glad I found y'all.
That's cool that you met Honey I Roam. I've been watching them for a while.
Just discovered your channel! Been interested in a runaway camper for a long time. Great video and fun to watch. You guys seem like good people! Love your dog too! Thanks for taking the time to make this video. Subbed and will follow your adventures! Take care.
Glad you found us! We love our Runaway. Reach out if we can help answer any questions for you.
Just bought my runaway rangerunner it’s actually one from another owner that would attend the runaway rallies and you have actually videoed it with a life size big foot in the chair and big foot feet all over the camper😂
Nice video! I’ll have to check out Juniper Springs.
You are so cute couple , and 🐕
U have a great set up thank you for posting.
Thank you!
I like Juniper Springs, one of the nicest springs. I stayed there when hiking through Ocala NF.
Amazing nature, trail in insanely beautiful. Stay safe.
Very fun to watch!
Hi , thanks for sharing your video , i love to see (moe) again in your videos , wishing you y’all good health and blessings to keep doing this . 🙏
You guys are so fun. Hope you do more!
Thanks! At this point, we put out a video every other Friday.
So much fun! I wish I were closer to FL to check out some of these places. I am finally picking up my runaway from the dealer in Utah hopefully next weekend. Then the adventures begin. Have already noted a number of your tips and tricks. As always, thoroughly enjoyed your video and it made me laugh.
Have fun with your Runaway!!
Great dog and pretty harness. Enjoyed your channel. You are such happy people.
You are so kind
Awww thanks for sharing 😊♥️ but yikes to tics...bears...mosquitoes...alligators, snakes, swamps, quick sand, flys, mats, bees & mosquitoes anyplace in Florida where these things do not exist outside???
Such a fun set up
Thanks!!
Enjoyed the video. If the coffee maker ends up being a no go on the battery power, check out the Stanley Pour over set.
We will check it out. Thanks!
That the CoolCamp? Enough room? Me and my gf just picked up a 2018 RangeRunner for $5k. Front diamond plating, front cargo rack, spare tire.
We spent yesterday cleaning it out, wiping down the walls and floors. Installed LED lights and trim on both doors.
Next week we're putting in shelves and resealing the whole thing. We're excited to get it camp ready.
Congrats on the Runaway! Yes, ours is the Cool Camp. Yes it’s enough room but we could use more space when we bring the dog. It was our only option when we bought it because of weight and size in the garage. You will love yours!!

I enjoyed your video, look forward to watching more. Thanks for the eply!
Hi Guys ! Makes us want to give this park a try.
Hi! Will we see you at the Runaway Homecoming next month?
I’m headed down to Alexanders Springs Recreation Area mid February.
Nice, enjoy!!
That looks like a great and fun outdoor adventure guys. Thank you very much for sharing! Juniper Springs looks really nice and so cool that you also have your little furried friend with you. I enjoy it too, to hike trails and having my little buddy with me. And in case you want some summer hiking vibes in the northern german dunes, you are welcome to come over to my little channel and follow us on the trail ;) Take care out there. Best wishes, Mario
Thanks for watching. We subscribed to your channel!
Great video! Thanks for showing us the park. I pick up my Range Runner is about a month from the Summerfield location, I appreciate the ideas and tips. How difficult was it to drill through the wall of the camper? How were you able to determine that you would not hit a vertical stud? Thanking you in advance. Safe journeys!
Hi! It wasn’t difficult to drill through. We just used a good sharp drill bit. I don’t think there are any studs, just 3/4 plywood joined in the corners. Congrats on your new Range Runner. You will love it!
Thanks for sharing your adventure. We have a Venturist on order and can't wait to set it up. Question, how did you hold the lights up inside on the cieling?? I already have the lights! Thanks!
Congrats on your new Venturist. Hopefully you don’t have to wait too long. We have fabric on the ceiling so we use Velcro strips to hold up the lights.
@@GloriousDayAdventures thanks so much!
Love your videos! Are you able to share what type of clip-on LED light you use for grilling on your fire disc?
Thanks for watching. Here is the amazon link. amzn.to/3qR2Cnq
Thanks for sharing another cool video. Fellow Gheenoe owner here.. I came across this video while researching a potential cool camp purchase. Seems like we both appreciate the less is more mindset. Did you buy new or on the used market? I'm getting too old for tent camping lol. Still trying to figure out how I can get a cool camp and my Gheenoe to my campsite.....
We bought our Cool Camp new in 2019. If you find out how to get both there together, let us know! 😀
Hello guys, love the channel! Have a few questions as I'm planning to camp there soon. Are you able to clean your pots and utensils at the bath house? And are you allowed to be able to place your trailer deeper in the site, example on the dirt?
They have a dish washing station at the bathhouse. Unfortunately all trailers and vehicles have to stay on the pavement.
How big of a hole did you have to do for that AC plug for the jackery? I like this idea and so we can use our power strips!
We actually drill two holes. One for the power cable and one for the cable from the solar panels to recharge the Jackery. We used 14AWG cable for the power and that required a 3/8” drill bit. The solar panel cable is 12AWG and required a 1/4” drill bit. We used silicone on the holes to make sure it was water tight. That is what it was for us but it could differ for you based on the diameter/size of the cables you use.
Which runaway camper do you have? Nice video. Thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed the video. We have a 2019 Cool Camp.
Note to self to bring a drip filter for over a coffee cup for emergency. 😳
Yes, that would have been helpful!!
Just saw you at Homecoming
It was great to see you again. Be safe on your travels!
Joel, where did you get the extra power box and the short power cable. We have a Range Runner and want to do that and use our 500 watt Jackery.
Hi Steve! Here is the link to the 3 ft power cable and the box. We got them both on Amazon. amzn.to/3Ldd1lG amzn.to/34FhRrb
Will you be at the Runaway Homecoming in a few weeks?
How do you power the A/C if the Jackery won’t?
If you are at a campground that offers shore power, you simply plug it in. The jackery isn’t strong enough to power it. You would need a bigger generator if you wanted to run the AC without shore power.
Keep it up"Nice.!! Wow, you need to research P-R-O-M-O-S-M.
