Kara couldn't stay mad at lena..not for long..lena couldn't stay mad at kara either..she just went into self destructive mode..she thought she lost the only person that cared about her..

If they aren't making Supercorp real, I swear to God! How affectionate the bond between Kara and Mon-el is, then how one between Kara and Lena is. I don't cheekily bite my lips in front of my bestie. I don't flood her workplace with flowers as a gesture of thanks. I don't splash 750 million dollars on a corporation so my friend could still do her dream job. I don't kill my malevolent and callous brother so my friend could be safe. I don't bother to make the friend who betrayed me to feel the same they caused me pain. Instead, I will either avert them for the rest of my life or cross them off. I don't represent heart eyes when chatting with my besties. I'm not that pathetic and mournful when so apologetic about what I've done to her. I don't, again, side with my besties to drag my brother down, though knowing how heinous and abominable he is.
Continuing... you don't hug her as many times for no aparent reason, you don't smile like your favorite person on the universe visits you, you don't receive heart emojis from your boss, you don't betray your mother and send her to jail for your bestie...

You have to see it from Lena's perspective. In her eyes, Kara was the one who stood up for her when everyone doubted her good side. It meant everything to Lena.
So the intensity of her gratitude is shown in her actions. She is a billionaire too. Flooding someone's office with flowers is like a normal thanks to her. Rich and deeply grateful people are extravagant. I know this because I know one.
Whatever they have between them is so intense..friendship or hatred or anything else..

Lena catches Alex's eye at their "jinx" moment . . . and then QUICKLY looks away, knowing Alex would read her! [That's coming next season, I'm certain: Alex will definitely read Lena. "I know you're in love w/ my sister" (unless maybe Kelly reads her first. That might be less fraught for Lena, to have it be Kelly. She is a professional, after all. And not named Danvers (yet anyway! LOL)]

Supergirl writers know full well what they were doing when they included it..they just want to tease people..and not give them what they want..
The song fits their relationship super well and it makes them seem even more relatible
it's really sad to know that they'll never be together, and that the writers just used the community :(
I feel like Supercorp fic authors and UA-cam editors were just chomping at the bit for 5x19. The moment that episode came out, some of the best stories and vids for the Fandom came out. Like finally Lena woke up and Kara got to vent. This video was incredible

This was perfect! I had this deep convo with my friend on how this could end.. if the writers would choose not to make them end game but at least on the last scene, they would let either kara or lena kiss the other on the cheeks then could just look at each other and thank each other for whatever. It could just be like a bff move but leave it as that. A cliff hanger-ish that even the shippers can either pretend that they end up together eventually. I would be happy to leave it like that..
All the arguments they had about Lena making kryptonite and Kara Apologizing as Supergirl for doubting Lena were brought too fruition the moment Lena used it against Kara in the fortress. Lena proved that Kara had been right to question Lena's intent the entire time. But even with all of that, when Lena said she had become a villain, you could see Kara struggle to not comfort her. Melissa made the acting choice to show Kara as having to force herself to not say anything and to look unhappy with Lena calling herself that. Kara never gave up on Lena even if she had every reason to.
