Awesome video showing all 3 on a bike. Most are going for the look first so seeing all 3 on the bike helps plus having the measurements are a plus also.

Question: I already have the mid size tour pack and it has that preinstalled pad. I bought the wrap around backrest to replace it with but wondering how do I go about drilling holes at the right spot? It didn't come with any kind of template like it did with your new tourpack light. Before i start drilling holes, I wanted to make sure I'm doing it right. Thanks in advance!
It would be a great idea if someone could make a tour package where you just change the lid to change the dimensions. In other words, one base and one lid could give you the chop looked but when you swap it out you can get the king look. 👍🏽
well it's just the opposite actually. The lids are al the same and the bases get deeper as you go. You have to split the tour pack to change out the lid so its just as easy to change out the base.
but then it would be like a cake container and all your shit would fall out lol

I never really liked the look of the King pack until I used one and had so much more room..now im over it lol Love the king packs.
Love your products. but for the Harleys you make a light for the chopped and king tour pack. But many of us with Indian 'Challengers want to use this light as well. Will you be offering a harness to allow use on and Indian Challenger?

Im sorry we do not carry a Solo Bracket for the tour packs.

I have a 2019 Electra Ultra Classic that came with a static mounted King Tour Pack. Can I use the same mounting hardware in your chopped tour pack?
Great info....I'm currently looking to get one, but I would like to know if I can use the bracket for solo only without removing the original seat.
The solo bracket will need to be tall enough to ride up over the back of your seat. If it does, any tour pack will work.
We prefer the king one all the time just because, you never know if you need to do some emergency groceries or get something. Plus you always get to lock up your helmets all the time 😉
Can you buy these without the black seat/pad?
I know it can be unbolted but then it would have holes in the plastic.
I just want a king tour pack with no pad/seat.

Twice my AdvanBlack king cracked by the 4 screws on the base so I junked it and got a cheap $399 and have had no issues for a year plus.
I saw a guy that put a cheapo piece of diamond plate and drilled the 4 holes in it too add rigidity so that doesn’t happen

I actually need help how to or just install the back king pad to the lid. My lid doesn't have any marks or drill points.
Good video, quick question, would the backrest pad on the razor fit on the King?
I suppose it would, however it will be super high on someone's back. Also please note that the wrap around back rest has 3 holes for the pad, two of those are out on the leading edges of the pack so when you pull it off and add the smaller one in the middle you will need 2 more holes in the middle and the outer holes will be exposed. If you are just ordering it you can call and ask it to be drilled for the smaller backrest and then put on the king so you wont have those holes on the outer edge.
have question for you involving the speaker lids you have on your saddle bags in this video.
im getting ready for some upgrades as far as audio goes. if i was to use those bag lids, would i be able to open/close if i installed speaker pods on a king tourpack? not sure what the clearance is, and dont want to pull the trigger and it end up not working out for me. if you can get me an answer id really appreciate it. plan to order parts from Advan, at least all the painted parts before sending them out for additional paint for some custom work on top.
Yes you can open your lids with tour pack speaker pods.
Do your tour packs accept harley seat pads and other aftermarket pads or do they have to use advanblack pads? For instance, I'm would be getting a saddleman seat and want the matching tour pack seat pad from them. Is that a problem? Just making sure before purchase.
They will accept aftermarket pads.
Question I have a 07 Electra Glide Ultra Classic I want to put a 4in rear fender on it with the 5in stretched bags and I have a razor touring pack on it will it fit
We do not have a 4 inch fender extension for anything older than an 09...the bags will fit with a modification to the front saddlebag mounting bracket and the tour pack will fit if you re drill the holes to fit a pre 09 bracket that fits your bike.
HARLEY told me that the razor is discontinued for the 2022??
I have the Harley Oem chopped tour pack. I want the wrap around back rest for it that you show on your chopped tour pack. Can this be done since all the lids are the same? Do I just need to drill new holes or why does everyone tell me this cannot be done? @advanblack
You can add a "razor/chopped" wrap around. Its the same as a wrap around minus the bottom part in the middle that would hit your fender on a shorter pack. All you have to do is make a cardboard template and redrill the holes. Where did you get the 8in speaker grills that are on the Amber bike?
I've been looking everywhere for an affordable grill that fits down in there with no luck. 😩

we dont offer a "slim" we have the razor (thats the smalles one) the copped (medium) and the king (largest)

How much weight is the razor and chopped rated to hold?
Do to the way extra weight that throws off the way the bike handles it is suggested that no more than 25 pounds bee added to any size tour pack.
does it interfere with your heart saddlebag lids?
No...you can still open your lids with no problems...I have 8" on my bike which stands way taller thana a normal lid and it still doesn't hit. It is no different than the HD one.
Can you use the chopped back rest on the razor ?
for the razor and chopped there are 2 backrest, the small one and the wrap around..the wrap around is specifically designed for the razor/chopped packs.
Can the speaker pods be used on the chop?
It will only fit the king tour pack
Can you put the seat that is on the chop on the razor?
yes..it is made for the razor/chopped tour pack.

They come pre drilled for the backrest...so there will be 3 holes in the front of the lid
@@Advanblack Yes, but this is not the entire story because you can delete the pre-drilled holes with a custom order.

the chopped backrest will fit on the chopped and razor. However the mounting holes are different so tyou will need to drill them out. Mind that the holes are on the outside corners of the tour pack...so if you want to put the small one back on then you will have visable holes in the corner.

The tour packs are pre drilled for the HD touring bracket but we have customers that simply predrill the bracket or the tour pack to match the holes up to install on non HD bikes all the time.

which speakers? The Harley pods will only fit the king

Everything is a seperate purcahse because not everyone needs the 4 point docking system and/or the tour pack bracket. Any bike that currently has a passenger backrest already has the 4 point docking system. Why would we make you purchase that if you do not need it? Its sold separately just like every other company sells it.
