If I recall correctly, the Alamo was never truly "nerfed" - the animation was simply changed a bit to match how slow the cycling between shells really is. You can still fire it as quickly as before, people just see how absurdly slow the cycle animation really is - so it "technically" got nerfed, but only because people see how slow firing the Alamo has always been & decided to not pick it up as much, which makes me sad because I love the weapon & wish people played it more :c Amazing video as always!
It used to be "open, shut, cock" but now it's "open, cock, shut" to better telegraph when the shotgun is ready to be fired again

@@JazzBoat_ The Alamo can fire>cycle>fire in 2.8 seconds. The base Romero can fire>reload>fire in 4 seconds. The Alamo is 1.2 seconds faster to refire compared to the base Romero, but the cycling animation needs to fully play out before the game considers the gun to be "ready", which means you'll have to watch the entire cycling animation again if you have to switch to your secondary at any point during the cycling animation. The base Romero is considered "ready" a bit over half way through the reload animation, and so can be swapped with a lesser time penalty compared to the Alamo if you have enough time to reach that point of readiness. Also considering that the Romero Talon unlocks earlier, gets 3 Axe/Bomblance damage heavy attacks, costs less than the Alamo, supports the flexibility of two concurrent ammo types, and has a fixed fire rate that isn't affected by a magazine which can run out and leave you high and dry for a while, the Alamo's value proposition is a little sketchy. The Alamo is by no means a bad gun (looks at Scottfield Brawler), it just fits a niche that a lot of players don't see much value in. Everything that it does "okay", another shotgun does a little bit better. It's in a weird spot.
Ultracute is a fitting name. I think I'll start using it.

Didn't enjoy the pax until they made it bigger, better, stronger, faster and most if all longer
Me and a friend of mine as soon as we saw it gave the Trueshot the nicknames “The Gat” and “The Stendo Pax” which still gives us giggles

I actually started using the flare pistol as my porta body burner after this video. It helps me a lot in solos, ty much for showing me a new thing to try
It's super strong. Kind of conflicted on if I like concertina tripmines more, but the flare gun is much easier to get consistent value out of
I have found success bringing both (usually on accident) but sometimes it feels like overkill.
I actually like to use starshell on the Lemat in order to save a tool slot
I went a loadout that was 1 with high velocity and then dual wield 2 with FMJ and it was actually really fun. You won't snipe anything at long range, but it was hilarious to swap being the headclicker and the spammers

I like it, FMJ ammo makes it on par with uppercut, and high velocity makes it better headshot machine than uppercut
