Yep. Never understood the logic from the EPA on those designs. It's almost as if they did not want you to be able to get gas out of your can. Only time I actually liked those nozzles with the push lock was when I had an older Kubota tractor with the fuel cap in the middle of the hood. Kept the fuel from spilling as I tipped the can while standing on the running boards
I would've put vent on top so gas wont leak out when it falls off. I heard some use meatal valve stem for vent, some even use shotgun after one use............
